ury in Paul Manafort financial fraud trial says it's reached a verdict on 8 counts, but remains undecided on 10 others.

The jury in the financial fraud trial of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort suggested to the judge Tuesday that it was stuck on at least one count in the case.

Jurors asked U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III on their fourth day of deliberations how they should fill out the verdict form if they were unable to reach consensus on a single count, though they did not suggest what charge was at issue. The jury of six men and six women also said it would need a new verdict form.

Because he wouldn’t have been prosecuted if he didn’t have a relationship with Trump. It’s called lawfare and this is a coup.

True. But Manafort was a crook before the campaign, he was a crook after the campaign, he would have been a crook if he never had anything to do with the campaign. Getting involved in the campaign may have brought him in to Mueller's sights but that does not change the fact that he committed tax fraud and bank fraud.

Yes, I believe that’s the goal. I can’t think of anything to the contrary to say that isn’t what is going on.

And the sheeple whistle past the graveyard. As long as they have homos getting married, can terminate a baby whenever they want, get the latest “news” on the Kardashians and watch a little prime-time TV, it’s all good.

SP, I’m thinking back to my FReepmail I sent you many months back. So, no one bother asking.

MMTU - It may indeed prove prophetic yet again.

Tax evasion is usually just a couple of years, not 300 years like I have been reading that Manafort is looking at

I don't know what you have been reading but had Manafort been convicted on all 18 counts and had he gotten the maximum then he would have gotten 15 to 20 years. With what he was convicted of and given the sentencing guidelines then he's probably looking at less than 5.

Then will there be a retrial, in case he isn’t financially ruined, yet?

I am beginning to believe that Trump should fire session, mueller, and rosenstein as soon as possible. What difference will it mean now to Trump? Are they going to give him bad press? Total all-out political war. I don't what the best course to take.

I hope Coehen has protection. I hope Trump is going to increase his protection. I hate to see Trump be defanged. I do not know of anyone else who has the minerals to stand up to these bastards. Is Pence going to stand in for Trump?

This is a perfect example of how the tax code can entrap ANYBODY. Sure, he broke the law, but the system is so effed up that nobody can understand it.

See tagline!

If convicted on all 18 counts, Manafort could be sentenced to more than 300 years in prison

Jeff Session will be GONE when Mueller’s crap job is done
+++++++
I agree 100%. But I’m less confident that Mueller will ever finish. Very little motivation on his part to do so. He can pick off minor players from the Trump Campaign more or less indefinitely, twist their arm and take them to court.

Hope I’m wrong about Mueller. Certain I’m not about Sessions.

Only if I can chant “hey ho, hey ho, Obama statue’s got to go” and maybe a few f-bombs while I’m at it.

"Manafort helped elect Trump,......No, he wasn’t around long enough. This is a way to signal in 2020 that anyone who helps POTUSDT to get elected again will be broken, persecuted and run out of public life."

Bingo !! which is why I think President Trump should take this right off the front page by FIRING Jess Sessions right now without warning.

Appoint and interim AG that will start indicting real criminals. Lock Hillary up in Solitary. Lock Comey up.

We are not winning on this one. Lots of winning but not the one that could end it all in November.

"Ask" for Sessions resignation now!!

300 years sounds like fake news. The fact is that Manafort will have a relatively short sentence for tax fraud and should consider himself lucky since he was at the mercy of one of the largest investigations in history.

As for the bigger picture of how does this effect the election and Trump's MAGA agenda? Simple, it doesn't. Manafort's conviction is meaningless for that no matter how much the media tries to spin it. If they keep spinning it they will just lose more of their tiny remaining credibility. So they'll basically drop it.

Fire Sessions? The simple fact of the matter is no metter who is AG, Manafort would have been convicted, because he is guilty. It’s too bad for Manafort, maybe he should have been more honest to the IRS. But it is of no consequence.
