A coworker once left the anti rotation spacer off when changing the the nose wheel and tire assembly on an F-16.
It became very apparent when the pilot tried to turn onto the runway.

Would that be the equivalent of the lock nut that holds the handle bars secure on a mountain bike coming loose when going down a hill?.........LOL!
