Chelsea Clinton has said she has not ruled out running for office one day, describing a move into politics as a “definite no now” but a “definite maybe” in the future.

She told the Edinburgh international book festival that while she “abhorred” Donald Trump’s presidency, she had no current plans to follow in her parents’ footsteps.

Clinton, who was promoting her children’s book about women who have persisted against adversity, strongly criticised the US leader on issues such as the separation of children from their parents at the Mexican border, branding the policy “the greatest sin of the moment”.

“At federal level, as much as I abhor so much of what President Trump is doing, I have a great amount of gratitude for what my congresswoman and my senators are doing to try to stop him at every point,” Clinton said.

Being a geezer just past the Biblical warranty period so my recollection might be a bit fuzzy, but my ex-wife and SOs never had such an exposed zipper on their LBDs, gowns and such. Have distinct and pleasant memories of assisting in the closing and opening of such devices which had edges that hid the zippers, most of which were a discrete color. Was strongly told that ladies did not wear what those HD chrome jobs in the photo. Definite faux pas. Has fashion changed such that trucker's wallet zippers are the fashion thing now?

Then again, Howdy Dowdy wore black rubber tights while pregnant, so maybe she just doesn't know any better.

Let that sink in. She has struggled so much against adversity that she decided to write a book about it (or more likely ghost written).

The same woman that was paid $600,000 for a no-show job at NBC News and now getting $2 million to run the Clinton Scam Foundation.

My kid's orthodontist was best friends with Chelsea's orthodontist. She was halfway through her treatment and Hillary demanded that her braces be taken off. The orthodontist explained that if her braces are taken off too soon she will always have that bucky look. (He didn't say bucky, he was really nice about it).

Hillary insisted and so he took them off. His plan was to move the front teeth back naturally and she would have become a beautiful girl.
