Chelsea Clinton has said she has not ruled out running for office one day, describing a move into politics as a “definite no now” but a “definite maybe” in the future.
She told the Edinburgh international book festival that while she “abhorred” Donald Trump’s presidency, she had no current plans to follow in her parents’ footsteps.
Clinton, who was promoting her children’s book about women who have persisted against adversity, strongly criticised the US leader on issues such as the separation of children from their parents at the Mexican border, branding the policy “the greatest sin of the moment”.
“At federal level, as much as I abhor so much of what President Trump is doing, I have a great amount of gratitude for what my congresswoman and my senators are doing to try to stop him at every point,” Clinton said.

Hmm, I'm not so sure.
She is the happy recipient of a long list of give-a-way degrees, but one suspects that she did as much to earn them as did Mister Obama in accepting a Nobel prize for almost less than nothing.
Chelsea is neither stupid nor brilliant.
(And, she was raised by a couple of conscienceless, socialist grifters, so she has no grounding in what a great way of life we Americans really have.)
She could probably get elected senator for New York like her carpetmun.. oops.. carpetbagger mom.

She has no aptitude for the office at all. Neither did bammy, but that won’t stop her. All it takes is the media creating a new image for her, and convincing the public that the image is true to life. The media is good at that. They did it for bammy. They convinced the public that the America-hating muzzy-loving marxist was a true patriot, a committed Christian, and a moderate.
My point was that congress is full of morons, both sides.

There are some crazy NYC voters in some districts, such that I could imagine her bagging (no pun intended) a seat in Manhattan some day. But she has less than zero potential at the statewide or national level.
