NBC security analyst and former CIA director John Brennan is doubling down on a threat to sue President Trump after the outspoken former Obama official was stripped of his security clearance.
Brennan appeared Friday night on MSNBC and told Rachel Maddow he is exploring litigation against the president. This follows Reps. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) and Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) saying Trump stripping Brennan of his security clearance is illegal.
“As you can imagine, a number of lawyers reached out to say that there is a very strong case here, not so much to reclaim mine but to prevent this from happening in the future," Brennan said. "So, I am thinking about what it is that I might want to do. At this time, I’m trying to make sure that the principle is what is going to be defended and supported and this is something that should not be repeated."

That's wrong.
If the United States wants to sell taxpayer paid information to 'the MSM' then taxpayers should get the profit and favors... not former employees like Brennan.
If a former employee of Coke-a-Cola tries to SELL the secret formula to 'coke' they would be arrested. Selling insider information of former employers is a crime in the real world - - NOT A PERK.
It's not just Brennan's personality.
Same with the Department of Treasury... if retired members of the 'Treasury Community' try to sell government collected information to JP Morgan or Goldman Sachs - they should NOT be able to keep the money or favors they receive. Goldman saves by not having to hire financial analysts but that's NOT the job of taxpayer supported groups to subsidize.
Selling taxpayer collected information to private for profit companies by ANY current or former employee of the Government - Treasury or Intelligence - should be a crime.
If Brennan files suit, it will be to satisfy the long lines of future and ex holders clamoring for him to do so. All about money.

This punk can stick it in his ear. A security clearance IS NOT A RIGHT!!! It is given to a person as needed to do your job. When I was in the Army, I held a Top Secret once and a Secret several times. EVERYTIME I departed a unit, my clearance stopped, mainly because you may not need it in your next duty station. If you did need it, then your unit S-2 would get your clearance reissued. This A-hole has not right to just keep his clearance. IF, big IF, he ever had another government job that required a clearance, then his new job could get the danged thing for the slime. Here’s hoping the slime ball never gets another one.
Dear God please remind the president he doesn’t have to participate in a law suit about security clearances, like he mistakenly did on national security and borders allowing judges to temporarily tie his hands.
