PLAINS, Ga. -- Jimmy Carter finishes his Saturday night dinner, salmon and broccoli casserole on a paper plate, flashes his famous toothy grin and calls playfully to his wife of 72 years, Rosalynn. "C'mon, kid," he says.
She laughs and takes his hand, and they walk carefully through a neighbor's kitchen filled with 1976 campaign buttons, photos of world leaders and a couple of unopened cans of Billy Beer and then out the back door. Three Secret Service agents wait.
They do this just about every weekend in this tiny town where they were born -- he almost 94 years ago, she almost 91. Dinner at their friend Jill Stuckey's house, with plastic Solo cups of ice water and one glass each of bargain-brand chardonnay, then the half-mile walk home to the ranch house they built in 1961.

He has a lot to be modest about.
I’ve never believed Jimmy Carter was a bad or corrupt man.
What he is is a shallow thinking, naïve, misguided man who thinks more with his heart than his head. Personally a great guy but an absolute disaster as a leader in a high position.
“Reading this made me have a little respect for Jimma. “
Not me! Our country is still suffering because of this worthless a$$hole’s presidency. And all of his “follow up” acts. The good die young, that Jimmah Catah is still above room temp tells you all you need to know about him. My father was the salt of the earth, he died at 63. My mother was a pain in the ass and she lived to be 93! I rest my case!

I used to feel not unkind toward him. His was an administration of complete ineptitude, not malice towards America which has been manifest in every demonrat politician since.
I thought (and think) “Habitat for Humanity” is one of the best charities out there.
But then jimmah got BACK into politics. Knocking the USA. And beyond water’s edge to boot.
Now I would not piss on him if he was on fire.
Thanks to the left a life like this now takes millions.
The sad part is the vast numbers of those tortured and dead because of his naivety. He could have not caused more death, sorrow and destruction if he had tried.
I see the killer rabbit hasn’t done him in yet.
A likable man. But was a terrible President.
Paper plates and plastic cups. He and his friends sure aren’t being very environmentally friendly.

Lol....I remember that!
Hes hiding fwum waskawe wabbits.
"I always told the truth," he said. "The worst is that he (Trump) is not telling the truth, and that just hurts everything," Rosalynn said.
"I may have overemphasized the plight of the hostages when I was in my final year," he says. "But I was so obsessed with them personally, and with their families, that I wanted to do anything to get them home safely, which I did."
I guess, in Jammah's mind, Reagan had nothing to do with freeing the American hostages.
I remember it quite well how the soaring interest rates destroyed the home building business. I was out of a job. My Dad and everyone else in the business lost everything thanks to that prick.
He is the reason my business philosophy has been Beware the Bible Beaters. Those who pretend to be so outwardly Christian and then screw you blind as soon as you turn your back.
Well, that makes one of us.
I haven’t forgotten his or his nephew’s recent dirty dealings with surreptitious video/audio captured at a campaign event (think it was that - not sure it was a Trump event).
I remember him praising his nephew for doing this.
Mr. Peanut needs to remain obscure.
Gee, I wish I was as “poor” as he is..
