The New York City Department of Education will fast-track its plan to provide implicit bias training to its employees and mandate their participation, Chancellor Richard Carranza said at a training session in Brooklyn on Wednesday.
The department had previously disclosed a four-year plan in which educators could choose to attend the implicit bias trainings. Mr. Carranza said that the department wants every adult in the system to undergo the multistage training in the next two years. The department will roll out a more detailed plan in the next month, he said.
“For me, it’s a no-brainer,” Mr. Carranza said. “This is going to be one of those cornerstone pieces in terms of how are we going to continue to transform this immense system to really, truly serve all students.”
Implicit bias trainings address subconscious prejudices, preferences or stereotypes that impact behavior and attitudes. By raising awareness of these tendencies, these trainings seek to improve outcomes for all students, regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status or native tongue, according to the Perception Institute, a consortium of researchers and advocates that seeks to reduce bias and discrimination. Representatives of the Perception Institute, which is working with the Education Department, led the summer training.

What would prevent people from just giving the “correct” answers and just going on as usual?

What One man’s view as bias is another man’s patriotism and respect for the constitution AS WRITTEN.
The majority of those employed in our education system, nation wide, are exactly the wrong mindset/ability to be anywhere near an education system.
Insane psychobabble. A true “no brainer”.
That's what I've been doing for the past 30 years for the mandatory "training" required by the Department of the Army (the last eight years of my military service and 22 years in the civil service). Sexual harassment training, transgender training, suicide prevention training, equal opportunity training, etc, etc, etc ...
It's a matter of nodding your head in the right places, answering the tests by checking the boxes slanted to the training, and parroting back the proper responses when called upon by the trainer ...
Extremely boring, especially after 30 years of the same training, but easy enough to pass ... and good for a few hours off work ...

After implicit bias training some people will have to get gender transition treatment.
I will simply go through the medicinal remedy of race transition and turn from white to black.
Then I will not need implicit bias training.
Just teach them to stand in line. Worked for the Soviets.
This will further embolden attention seeking and disgruntled individuals. Radical leftism is mainstream. It needs to stop.
What is “bias training?”
One of my older friends grew up in North Korea (his family fled south at some point). He remembered loud speakers ordering the children to go through the village every afternoon to monitor things and report to the authorities if they thought anyone was doing anything not in line with the socialist paradise. They also had to “confess their sins” once a week. He remembers usually saying that he had a longing to eat more rice, which would be selfish and bad for the people.
That’s what we all did after I took the similar training sessions with a 100% examination rating and got a diploma with my name on it to put on the wall at Eastern Michigan University’s Halle Library in 2016. Not everyone got 100%, by the way.
The university crassly pandered to potential Muslim students and got up to around 19% Muslim enrollment starting at around 1%. Prayer alcove and foot bath at the Student Center Building. Lots of pandering respect by the administration.
I continued being the kind, generous, compassionate and caring man I always was (and voted for Trump in the important Michigan primary and the crucial Michigan vote to carry the state in November.) Brainwashing didn’t work, I was still a great person like today and I went on to post on FR.
Bigotry and Racism is obviously rampant in Black society, but the search must take place with microscopes in white society.
The slave mindset of the minority is all about perceived offense, without that offense the dependence on the Globalist Democrat Master melts away as the minority embraces freedom to become just another middle class American.
To create the New World Order, The free nation of America must be subjugated. No other nation stands in the way, no other nation has a culture of freedom.
So class warfare and mass migration of “the other” is critical to fan the fires of destruction.
That is why America, the most technically advanced Nation in the world has no borders or voter ID.
