It’s not hard. Need to know? No then no clearance. If your company or your employer has a contract that has a contractual requirement then fine. They make it sound like these guys are sitting around with TS for no reason. I think something is being left out of the reporting.

The full list of traitors supporting Brennan includes William Webster, George Tenet, Michael Hayden, Leon Panetta, David Petraeus, Porter Goss, James Clapper, Stephen Kappes, John McLaughlin, Michael Morell, Avril Haines, David Cohen, and (later joining the initial 12) Robert Gates. I’m glad this statement was issued: we now know who our enemies are and who belongs in Guantanamo Bay.

The good news is, anyone who’s being blackmailed can also be freed from that state of slavery.

“Lose your clearance and you just might lose that fat consulting job.”

Yes, and these self-serving, perhaps even treasonous a$$holes have most likely been selling out their country. And now the RATs are conflating Government Security Clearances as a Constitutional Right. I’ll bet you that even President Trump had no idea just how really “third world” our government had become before the inauguration. I know each and every day I learn more that is very concerning

Lose your clearance and you just might lose that fat consulting job. D.C. Area is full of ex government or military employees who join consulting firms upon completing service. Employees count on their skill, contacts still working within the government, and clearances to save time and money.

Oh, no! Without those security clearances, they will have to do what all the rest of us have to do to earn our livings — something productive.

Seems the thought of that has them wetting themselves.

I was going to say the quarry are flushing themselves out of the bushes, but you said it better.

In my early 30s, I worked for a defense contractor at a job that required a top secret clearance.

The FBI checked my public school records, military service records, police records, and conducted personal interviews with neighbors from when I was a kid.

I was granted the clearance and worked at that job for about 2 1/2 years, before taking a year of leave of absence to finish my college degree by attending full time rather than just part time.

As soon as I terminated my employment, my security clearance was gone and I had to sign a document swearing not to ever disclose what I had worked on there.

Why do these Gov’t. guys think they have a right to retain their clearances? It’s only a privilege, not a right! ...When someone leaves their job that required a security clearance, it should be immediately stripped away!

When Brennan was boss, some needed to know him. Not anymore.

Dan Bongino gets to the nub of it.

Everyone leaving government with a TS or higher has a commodity that can be parleyed into other government or contracting jobs. It cost big bucks $ to get a background check that is coveted by government contractors, which is necessary for their employees to have to do their jobs. They certainly don’t want to pay for the cost to get one.

I gave it a thought way back when I had one, but didn’t used it. These old high ranking guys in the Swamp feel Trump has threatened their meal tickets when Trump took Brennan’s clearance away.

Very good posting! You nailed it about Obama firing so many military officers, revoking their SCs and replacing them with lots of pansies who support leftist and LGBT views.

Amazing no one has brought up Sandy Berger in this thread.

He retained his clearance, went to the archives, and destroyed records pertaining to him and his role in various Clinton administration fiascoes. The ones he didn’t destroy, he smuggled out in his pants.

I think all they did was make him surrender his law license.
