The problem is over 30 GOP “incumbents” are not running for reelect, thus making open seats. Too many believed the polls last year and decided not to run. This is the reason why the polls and stats are not reliable. The GOP has more open seats than are needed to lose the house.

I don’t think the GOP-e wants to keep the House. Deep state RINOs are terrified of actually governing. They need at least one of three bodies, House, Senate or Presidency, to be democrat. That way they can play the “woe is us our hands are tied” game.

On YouTube, you can see this bozo raising the criminal Hillary Clinton’s chances of winning the presidency over Trump to 78 percent about 8:30 election night. At about 10:15, Stephanopolous puts him on the spot about “changing our forecast” which of course, Silver denied, with some babble about Hillary not winning any of the competitive states. He is asked for a prediction and goes to the betting markets which favor Trump. I could have asked my cat to put his tail in the direction of the winner and have gotten a more reliable result.
He pretty much nailed the popular vote though, he was only off by about 1%. He called 48%-45% Hillary win, and it was actually 48%-46% Hillary win. Unfortunately, there is no electoral college for house seats, so if popular prediction is as accurate as his 2016 popular vote prediction, the House is lost.
