When Alexander Bortnikov, the head of Russia’s internal security service, told me during an early August 2016 phone call that Russia wasn’t interfering in our presidential election, I knew he was lying. Over the previous several years I had grown weary of Mr. Bortnikov’s denials of Russia’s perfidy — about its mistreatment of American diplomats and citizens in Moscow, its repeated failure to adhere to cease-fire agreements in Syria and its paramilitary intervention in eastern Ukraine, to name just a few issues.
When I warned Mr. Bortnikov that Russian interference in our election was intolerable and would roil United States-Russia relations for many years, he denied Russian involvement in any election, in America or elsewhere, with a feigned sincerity that I had heard many times before. President Vladimir Putin of Russia reiterated those denials numerous times over the past two years, often to Donald Trump’s seeming approval.
Russian denials are, in a word, hogwash.

Ya know, I read the entire article and there was not one mention of a specific example of collusion , only vague generalities of what he thinks might have happened. Then again this has been the same thing they have been saying for 18 months

I now am aware — thanks to the reporting of an open and free press — of many more of the highly suspicious dalliances of some American citizens with people affiliated with the Russian intelligence services.
Wow. After more than two years of investigating Trump and his campaign, using the most intrusive and all-encompassing surveillance techniques available to the US government, they found NOTHING.
So after having looked at all of the communications of the Trump campaign, all Brennan can point to is putting an obtuse spin on one of Trump's jokes, "wondering" what Trump might have said in private, and "suspicious dalliances" that in all likelihood were attempted entrapments of Trump people by western intelligence assets like Halper and Mifsud.

He doesn’t even refer to collusion until halfway through the article. Then his evidence amounts to: Trump referred to Russia getting HRC’s emails and if he did that, what must he have been doing with his advisors in private?
If Mr. big mouth has proof of collusion the should take it to Mueller and lay it out. maybe Mueller should subpoena all of Brennan’s correspondence and bring him in and see what he has. I am sure that Mueller would love to get information from the person who started the fake dossier BS and lied to congress being he has so much integrity

I love it when ‘unbiased’ people just know something is true with or without evidence of any kind. And we should all just stand in line to read or hear their pontification on things they just know is true because they just know that they are correct and we should also.
