A crackdown on the controversial H-1B visa intended for skilled workers has struck Indian citizens harder than other foreign nationals, with federal officials hitting them with more visa denials and demands for proof of their eligibility to work.

Bull sh1t I was around in the 90's. There were projects EVERYWHERE. My salary doubled in one year. Signing bonuses were very common.
So pay would skyrocket for Americans in IT and students would flock to be STEM majors and ee'd have real economy again. Thanks to POS globalists like, you we cant have that. Yes you are POS.
I was going to say Cognizant.
As companies and liberals whine about American salaries and standards of living, an engineer made $274,000 in 1972 in today’s dollars.
That’s when engineering was worth it and the best and brightest joined in. We put a man on the moon during that time.
Today, Obama wanted to build trains.
Now, we have anti-Americans liberals farming out those jobs to cheap foreigners. Product output at companies are evident of it. There is just crap everywhere.
It is time to Make India Great again by shipping all of the Best and Brightest home to India.
What is that 100 percent based on, the laughable prevailing wage?
The best thing you can do for your daughter is to keep them away from the booming IT field, including software engineering.
What makes you think INdian recruare here stateside?
Magic jack can provide a phone line anywhere.
And yes, these Indian IT recruiting hucksters are absolutely useless.
Too many millions of Indians have come here on H1-B and other visas over the past 22 years, and too many millions are still here in the USA. Too many millions of them stay after their visas expire, or their sponsorship ends, and then they become illegal aliens. I suspect many of the Indian IT recruiters are such illegal aliens because that job certainly does not qualify as a "highly skilled" position befitting the H1-B visa fraud.
They call from all the garden spots: Parsippany, Edison, Alpharetta, Charlotte, & Milpitas.
A few days ago, I got a call on Google Voice from one of these jokers looking for an Iowa Farmer. After listening to the call several times, I was able to figure out Apu was looking for an iOS Developer.
Too many of the calls are coming from crappy voice lines, looking for bodies to work at either TCS or Infosys.
All these jokers do is waste peoples time. NONE of them should be considered high-skilled.
That is exactly what happens when a business hires illegals. The illegals get into hiring positions and won't hire anyone except other illegals- often relatives and friends. When the number of illegals gets to a certain point they will play dirty tricks and bully citizen workers. The owner of the business thinks he is doing great because it saves him money. His hiring people assure owners no citizens want the jobs to sooth any qualms they may have. Citizens will often not even apply at those companies because they know they won't be hired and if they are hired the other employees will make sure they can't stay. I have seen that play out in construction all the way back to the late 1970s and still today though I hear the tide is turning.
Businesses that do not participate have to compete with those that do play the game, which often means they go out of business if they don't do the same to keep thier wages down. Wages for all the jobs where this is happening stay low for everyone because of this practice.
The Democrat Party is evil for sure and they may want to rob me thru taxation and forced socialism but the Republicans may be worse; they want to put me out of business, disappear me, and replace me with a third worlder from India.
Re-read my post. I said nothing about Democrats.
