Colorado is trying to compel the same baker who just won a Supreme Court case into baking a second cake that violates his religious beliefs.
Masterpiece Cakeshops Jack Phillips, who won a Supreme Court case in June, is once again being harangued by the Colorado Civil Rights Commission for refusing to bake a cake with a pro-LGBTQ message. Alliance Defending Freedom filed a federal lawsuit late Tuesday night against the commission on his behalf, over the states second attempt to compel him to bake a cake with a message that violates his religious beliefs.
Two months ago, the Supreme Court ruled that Phillips ought not to have been forced to bake a cake with a pro-LGBT message for a same-sex couples wedding, because the court found that the commission was overtly hostile to the bakers religious beliefs.

Actually, the SCOTUS ruling was not clear other than SCOTUS ruled that Masterpiece was treated unfairly in the sense that Masterpiece had religious rights that must be considered and were NOT considered, not addressed. Masterpiece’s rights were simply ignored.
However, SCOTUS was wise as you will see below.
As CO Civil Rights Commission (COCRC) goes back to spar with Masterpiece, they must consider Masterpiece’s constitutional rights in their decision process. They can’t ignore them this time. They must write why they think homosexual rights supersede religious rights.
Now that might not sound like a big deal, but it is.
Because if/when COCRC includes written analysis of Masterpiece’s constitutional rights this time around, SCOTUS will have fresh meat to make a real ruling with.
SCOTUS is setting the stage for a landmark decision.
People need to start a GoFundMe account...
Unfortunately, yes, it’s a bad omen.
The spirit of antichrist is working its evil wherever and whenever it can.
Are you kidding? Of course he can’t.
I hope they have a Go Fund Me acct. Get a lawyer and sue for harassment.
Your assessment is correct. This is about much more than just making a cake. These leftists and their benefactors will not stop until they have completely gutted the constitution. This is why SCOTUS picks are so critical. Just sent $50, but as you stated, any amount helps.

for refusing to create a cake commemorating a gender transition.

I’d LOVE to see the ‘discovery’ process. A modern miracle to see XX < > XY.
Far as I’m aware, in the human species, it’s an impossibility.
Baker should really rub the salt in the wound, “If they could show me, medically, the ‘switch-a-roo’, I would have been more than willing to make such a cake. But, until that time, I am unwilling to support the mental delusions of another.”
I dont understand why his answer isnt just...I am booked that day.
THAT
EXACTLY THAT.
Whoever answered the phone and talked to this agitating queer FAILED. IF you refuse service — and you will have to at some point — YOU DO NOT *EVER* SAY WHY!!!
NEVER! A generic refusal is ALL you ever need.
Now this guy is going through the WHOLE stinkin’ dog-and-pony show all over again!

I agree, why did the Baker not keep it to “I’m busy”.
And neither should we. The time to lock and load is here. Don't fire until you see the white's of their eyes.

Because he is proving a point, that he has the right to refuse based on religious objection.
They are trying to drive them out of business as punishment for setting a SCOTUS precedent that is not in the leftards’ favor. In short, the LGBTQRSTUV movement wants to have its cake and eat the baker, too.
He’s going to need financial help. They’ll be happy to bankrupt him.
Yup. Bend over and take it.
No I am not kidding. Have you forgotten all the crap obama stuck his big nose into???
I suggest any one of the following messages for inscribing on the custom cake:
"Congratulations! You're not gay!"
"Real men love beautiful women."
"Be Right With the Lord -- Leviticus 18:22"
I'm sure y'all can think of other short, civilized messages that are nonetheless guaranteed to send faggots and leftists into paroxysms of hatred. Ideally, the "gay-friendly" bakery should be quite close to the the bakery of the beleaguered Christian trying to protect his right not to be violently terrorized into actively participating in deviant behavior.
A major problem, of course, is the difficulty of finding a crowdfunding platform that won't instantly boot the effort as "contrary to their terms of service." Another concern is vetting the volunteer for good character and the ability to carry through with the messy legal battle that follows. Any ideas?
This is exactly what Jordan Peterson is saying. You are compelled to speak a certain way. Isn’t this what POWs in Vietnam experienced.
