President Trump on Wednesday revoked the security clearance of John Brennan, the former C.I.A. director under President Barack Obama, citing what he called Mr. Brennan’s “erratic” behavior.

When an employee is terminated at my company - even if they leave voluntarily and on good terms - we collect all their badges, swipe cards, etc., and immediately terminate all electronic access to company resources including even email. I was at a retirement party after work for an employee just a couple weeks ago and by the time he got poured his first beer, he was no longer able to email anybody at the company with his work address.
Why is this different in government? Makes no sense.

Do you have any proof of this Trump/Sessions strategy? If that is the strategy, and if such is being competently executed, there won't be any "proof" until after the ax falls.
I have had personal experience with this sort of "good-guy, bad-guy" act from extremely savvy executives. It is possible.
I don't believe that is what is going on here - but it is possible. And I could be astonished like everyone else if that is how things unfold.
I will sip on my drink and watch the show.
