President Trump ratcheted up his attacks on Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Saturday, tweeting that Sessions was "scared stiff" and "Missing in Action" in defending him amid special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Trump slammed Christopher Steele, the former British intelligence officer at the center of the Trump dossier scandal, and the Department of Justice (DOJ) and once again slammed Mueller's investigation as a "witch hunt."
"The big story that the Fake News Media refuses to report is lowlife Christopher Steeles many meetings with Deputy A.G. Bruce Ohr and his beautiful wife, Nelly. It was Fusion GPS that hired Steele to write the phony & discredited Dossier, paid for by Crooked Hillary & the DNC," Trump tweeted.
"Do you believe Nelly worked for Fusion and her husband STILL WORKS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF 'JUSTICE.' I have never seen anything so Rigged in my life. Our A.G. is scared stiff and Missing in Action. It is all starting to be revealed - not pretty. IG Report soon? Witch Hunt!" he wrote.
Trumps attack on Saturday was likely prompted by murmurings that the Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee is readying subpoenas for people connected to the controversial Steele dossier.
Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) is reportedly preparing subpoenas for DOJ official Bruce Ohr, his wife, Nellie Ohr, and Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, sources told The Hill this week.
Bruce Ohr is facing scrutiny from Republicans for his contacts with Simpson and Steele during the presidential campaign, the news of which prompted Trump allies to demand a special counsel investigation into the DOJ and FBI in December.
Simpson hired Steele to help produce the dossier that made a series of salacious allegations about Trump's connections with Russia.
Nellie Ohr worked for Fusion GPS during the presidential campaign a fact that Republicans have promoted as a possible link between the DOJ and the opposition research firm.
Trump has gone after Sessions for the Russia probe before, saying earlier this month that the attorney general should stop the investigation "right now."
"Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further," Trump tweeted on Aug. 1.
Trump is also known to harbor hostility toward Sessions for recusing himself in the investigation.
The Russian Witch Hunt Hoax continues, all because Jeff Sessions didnt tell me he was going to recuse himself...I would have quickly picked someone else. So much time and money wasted, so many lives ruined...and Sessions knew better than most that there was No Collusion! the president tweeted in June.
Him calling her “beautiful” has to be a message, like, “she’s the one that’s going to be arrested”
If Trump’s desire is to have Sessions resign, it’s not happening. Sessions is quite likely the worst cabinet director we’ve in quite some time (in terms of damage to the country).
All totally TRUE.
There is illegal domestic spying, sedition, and massive DNC “collusion” with Brits and Russians. If the Trump campaign simply met someone for free to hear some dirt they knew on Hillary, that is totally legal. But PAYING foreigners is a FEC felony.
Sessions is a joke.
The only question is, is Sessions just boinking the housekeeper or are there pictures of a naked boy in his bed?
There playing games...Trump would fire Sessions if he was not doing what he wanted..

Wait till after the election in November...if Trump holds the house watch out
Actually, the comments on that thread about the FBI and DOJ doing that to destroyed Clinton evidence makes more sense. No one here would be able to prove to me otherwise.
He didnt really mean that! Its just 465D intergalactic chess underwater. /s
My prediction:
1) The Midterms go poorly for us, and we lose just enough seats in the House for the Democrats to take over.
2) The Democrats draw up and pass articles of Impeachment for Donald Trump having gone to Russia to pee on prostitutes.
3) AG Sessions finally breaks silence, calling the charges against Donald Trump “troubling and credible” and calling for the President to “step down to preserve the honor of the Presidency” and to “start healing the nation.”
This dickwad is as deep-state as deep-state gets.
That's the problem. All of this nonsense Sessions (and Trump) is allowing to take place is an attempt to take out Trump, whether directly or by taking over the House. All negative Trump news ends up impacting GOP candidates.
I was fairly certain a couple of months ago the GOP would hold the House, maybe even add a few seats to their lead. Now, if the DEMs take the House, it wouldn't surprise me.
“If Trump and Sessions are playing a Q game to distract attention from their real activities, they’re pretty good at it.”
Anyone believing that Trump and Sessions are playing a game would have been excellent toys for Jim Jones to play with.
I do not like President Trump insulting AG Sessions. Reality check....who the heck would the US Senate ever confirm to replace him? We’d end up with some swamp-thing hack being acting AG. I also fear that insulting AG Sessions could get Steve Miller off the Trump train. Without those two, I doubt Trump would be President.
He called Lisa Page lovely in a recent Tweet.
“The only question is, is Sessions just boinking the housekeeper or are there pictures of a naked boy in his bed? “
Sessions could walk around with an un-zipped fly without any fear, because a dead man can’t fall out of an open window.
You mean like we already have now?!
Are you sure that’s a woman?
Put yourself in the shoes of one of his enemies who think he's a feckless retard.
Dunno know about you, but I see this as baiting the Lefty dolts pretty hard.
