FBI had actually paid Christopher Steele, the man who put together the infamous unverified dossier targeting President Donald Trump during the campaign, in 11 separate cash payments in 2016.
This was despite being admonished in February 2016 and despite the fact that he was being paid with money from the Democrats that went through the law firm Perkins Coie to Fusion GPS to Steele for opposition research to gather against Trump...
FBI was using taxpayer dollars to pay for opposition research and unverified smears on Trump. In the words of FBI official Peter Strzok, sounds like an “insurance policy.”

Maybe if you polygraph enough people use all the new psych techniques that determine who is dirty and who is not you might be able to reinvent the FBI,I don't know.
Nothing to hide there. Did the bank comply with the Bank Secrecy Act for withdrawals and any deposit of $10,000 or greater in cash?
Were any transactions by either the FBI or Steele structured?
Was there compliance with Federal law that all cash payments in excess of $10,000 must be reported to the IRS?
These are major Federal Laws for which many have gone to prison such as J. Dennis Hastert!
I love this word "unverified" as if their was a failure to do due diligence to acertain the asserted facts. Much of the so-called "dosier" was transparent fiction. It's like a 12 year-old cribbing "Dear Penthouse" letters.
What does it tell us about FISA court judges when there is a "willing suspension of disbelief" on their part. It's like it must be true because if it is true then we are well-rid of this damnable Trump fellow. And I can believe the story because he has certainly been pissing on our party here in the swamp.
And, it sure sounds to me like the FBI has been lying to itself, which is about the worst federal crime one can commit. They need to be made an example of.

The fact that neither were working for Russian vanguard groups does not relieve the FBI from dutifully reporting their suspicions.
This is the point where Steyn had a swing-and-a-miss, as he did not press on this obvious fact: This PLA operative was 'only uncovered after decades' on Feinswine's payroll demands only one interpretation -- that she was told it was time to dump her Chinese agent before President Trump made a grind of it in order to unseat her in her 2018 election.
