Democrats Talking Up Richard Gere as Potential Candidate.
NY POST ^ | 8/9/2018 | NYPost

This could be his greatest role ever.

Actor Richard Gere’s name is being floated as a potential candidate for Congress in the northern suburbs, The Post has learned.

The current representative of the 18th Congressional District, Sean Patrick Maloney, is running in September’s Democratic primary for state attorney general and, if he’s successful, his House seat would be open.

And that’s where Gere comes in.

The 68-year-old activist, who lives in Pound Ridge, Westchester, within the district, is being talked up in Democratic circles as a possible replacement for Maloney.

“Richard Gere’s name is being whispered about among Democrats. We’ll see what he’s made of,” said Middletown Mayor Joe DeStefano, an influential Democrat in Orange County, which makes up much of the district.

Some of us are old enough to have lived before the Internet.

Gerbil was the first thing I thought when I read the headline.

It would be interesting if for no other reason than to find out what nickname Trump would attach to him.

Everybody thinks they can replicate what Trump did. Sorry folks. They threw the mold away when he was born.

I can picture it now : Gloria Allred taking the microphone at a press conference with 6 gerbils on the dais with her that are prepared to speak out as victims.

I guess the globalist want to see President Trump bring a gerbil to the debate. After all Trump brought Bill Clinton’s rape victims for the 2016 debate and I’m sure he would be more than happy to bring a rodent. I would laugh my ass off!

Hamsters don’t work- no tail to pull them back out again. Hence the unfortunate gerbil with the long tail...

They’d use pack rats if the pet stores would carry them.

Yes, he’s going to run on the “Rodent Party” ticket.

All the Gerbils in California have fled to Oregon.

I predicted this on FR some time ago.

Lacking any viable candidates who are not 80 years old or ticket-killing moonbats, the Dems were going to draft a celebrity to run for POTUS.

The only thing preventing that was the Clintons pulling the party puppet strings, and it appears that has come to an end.
