Good morning, Jim, and fellow FReepers!
Hot, humid weather today in eastern Nebraska. Taking a day off tomorrow, so we will take the cat to the vet for his shots and a microchip, then do a little shopping for the party on Saturday. It will be a birthday party for the little granddaughter, who is turning 2!! FUN. Being a grandparent is very humbling, as you consider what the future might hold for the little ones.
Many schools around here start class again next week, and it seems another summer is almost complete. We are looking forward to a trip in a few weeks, to include a visit to the National Museum of the Marine Corps, and see some spots with historical significance for both the Revolutionary War and the Civil War.
Isn’t this a great country? Aren’t we blessed to have Donald Trump as our POTUS (and NOT HRC!!)??
I sent my check a few weeks back, including an extra $5 due to the income tax reduction. Hope other FReepers will get moving on their donations, so the FReepathon can wrap up, and we can focus on the midterms and swamp cleaning.
I agree with your comment OkeyDoker, everyone here should chip in to support his board that does not have all the limitations, shadow banning etc that is pulling down even the largest ones
We may agree and disagree here but at the end of the day we are all Free to think what we want and share it here with others. So I ask each of you to simply chip in as you can to keep this board going. I have looked at all the others and they are time sinks that go no where, this one one is my go to for information and collegiality, open conversation and much more
