Good morning, Jim, and fellow FReepers!
Hot, humid weather today in eastern Nebraska. Taking a day off tomorrow, so we will take the cat to the vet for his shots and a microchip, then do a little shopping for the party on Saturday. It will be a birthday party for the little granddaughter, who is turning 2!! FUN. Being a grandparent is very humbling, as you consider what the future might hold for the little ones.
Many schools around here start class again next week, and it seems another summer is almost complete. We are looking forward to a trip in a few weeks, to include a visit to the National Museum of the Marine Corps, and see some spots with historical significance for both the Revolutionary War and the Civil War.
Isn’t this a great country? Aren’t we blessed to have Donald Trump as our POTUS (and NOT HRC!!)??
I sent my check a few weeks back, including an extra $5 due to the income tax reduction. Hope other FReepers will get moving on their donations, so the FReepathon can wrap up, and we can focus on the midterms and swamp cleaning.
