At least Canada’s new Iranian friends will be happy.

“You realize Alberta has some of the world’s largest oil reserves?”
Yes, but it’s locked up in sand, and is expensive to extract.
I hope some day some enterprising entrepreneur can figure out a way to process it cheaply. That would signal the OPEC death knell.

... Canada has finally grown a spine...

Pretty useless without a melon on the top end and a pair of nuts at the other.

I’m praying that’s not the case. At the same time, it almost doesn’t matter. Conflict is coming.

I’m currently on site and wired up the biggest producing oil well in North America. We’re pumping it.

We also need our stuff to market. As it is now, we sell at reduced rates to the US, who then benefit from that.

Lots of oil not in sand.

Lots of natural gas too.

Thanks.

Next year is a big one. Provincial election to kick out NDP, and federal to kick out Trudeau. Then Canada and USA can rock our economies to utter prosperity together.

Doug Ford’s election was only the beginning. It was a pretty resounding win. I sense more of the same for both Alberta and the country soon. I’m starting to believe Trudeau will be gone.

I’m honestly divided on this. About time that some one in the West addresses the real women who suffer - under the Saudi’s Islamist regime. Or just about time someone FINALLY has stood up against the Saudis - the one’s GWB bows to.

But it is laughable for Canada to talk about human rights. Our country runs the Stasi like human rights tribunals that seek to stamp out real human rights like freedom of speech.

That is what we were told about China and Iraq. That trading with them would improve their human rights. And it has not done so.

Hmmmmm....I have to disagree with you. It is not size that matters. Australia is smaller but culturally I would argue has a much bigger impact on the US than Canada. Ireland has a larger cultural impact and only has 10 million people.

Canada WAS a country that mattered with something like the third largest military at the end of WWII. What has made us unimportant is a combination of things:

1) Identity as anti-identity: Canadians came to know who there were only as a very insecure anti-Americanism. Instead of defining them as something positive. Didn’t work well for the Austrian people who struggled for centuries trying to find their identity separate from Germany.

2) The false benefits of promoting multiculturalism instead of integration

3) Decades of making the Liberal Party Canada’s party. The Liberals exist to do the bidding of the ChiComs, promoting Quebec industries (Bombardier) with corporate welfare at the expense of the rest of Canada, and through the massive neglect of our once great military machine.

There was nothing wrong with the message but it should have been a private phone call not tweeted for the world to see.
Politicians should use more commonsense and manners.

their human rights abuses are legendary>>>>>>>>>>

Yes they have beem following Shatia Law for a very long time, over a thousand years and now the West calls their laws “ Human Rights “ abuses.

But since when do nations allow other nations to interfere in their internal affairs? Canada continues to abuse the human rights of Native Canadians.I wish the Saudis would point that out.

Oh, I have no problem with how they do things in their own country.... if Sharia is what they want, I couldn’t care less.

My problem with them is their sponsorship of radical Islam around the world. Add on to that the fact that they use money gained from OUR trade with them to establish Wahhabi mosques that preach values antithetical to the American way of life.

Again, they are NOT our friends.

Again, they are NOT our friends.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The Sauds are not our driends
The Russians are not our friends
The Chinese are not our friends.

BUT WE HAVE TO COEXIST.

The attempted pussy whipping of the Saudi King by Canada’s foreign minister Freeland , is the same tripe they tried on PDJT. So the King of Saud has retaliated for this breach of civil diplomacy and ashed for an apology or elese. No apology was forthcoming.

Now Canada is losing billions of investment for the priggish twitter account ramblings of a cross eyed femino nazi wjho has saddled Canada with her smug superior political views on feminism. What about Chinese viloation of civil rights on Tibet? What about Russian violations of human rights ion the Crimea and Ukrain. Freeleand was silent. But if the victim is a pu$$y , then all hell breaks loose? Spare me.

Women like Freeland are a curse on the body politic of Canada. We do not need in your face ,liberal fascist , radical feminists applying their personal ideology to foreign affairs. It will cost thousands of Canadians their jobs. This is why Freeland is a liberal fascist, personal ideology imposed on everyone, uber alles. She should be ridden out on a rail right along with Justin Trudeau himself, for the vacant staring drama teacher he is, out of his league.

Everyone should be condemning Saudi for it’s human rights abuses, terrorist ties and funding. Let’s not forget 9/11.

Christians receive 500 lashes for not denying Jesus Christ in Saudi, and even Trump is remaining silent.

So?

That’s been going on in and around Saudi Arabian territory for a thousand years, even before Saudi Arabia was formed as a kingdom.

None of the liberal fascist rhetoric of femino-nazis like Canada’s foreign minister Freeland is representative of what is good for the people of Canada. When an entire foreign policy of a nation rests upon the cross eyed donkey’s private musings of Canada’s pussy whipper in chief, its not at all about what Saudi has done over the entire period of the Kingdom’s existence. As a matter of fact Canada has welcomed thousand of Muslim immigrants to its shores who live and believe exactly the same Sharia laws, with the full support of Freeland.

Freeland’s Personal feminist axe to grind has no place in the cabinet or in the composition of Canada’s foreign policy

SHE AND OTHERS LIKE HER SHOULD RESIGN THEIR CABINET POSITIONS IMMEDIATELY.
