Polls close at 7:30pm ET
The early vote is where most of the voter fraud is carried out. No votes in from Delaware County, big GOP stronghold.
Any doubts I still had about Roy Moore all went poof when he pulled out a handgun at a public appearance.
The legal term is brandishing, and for a brief moment, without telling anyone in advance of his actions, he pulled out that handgun and lifted it up. Any officer or deputy would have been within their rights to have shot him on the spot.
A judge especially should have known better. After that, I knew his judgment was in question.
I’ve lived in Dupage County since 1991. Lefties from Chicago have been moving out here in droves, and bringing with them the same voting habits that make Chicago the insane asylum it is. They are like a cancer: They destroy one place, and when it gets too bad even for them they leave and do the same thing at their new place. Dupage County used to be conservative and very traditional; unfortunately, liberals could not stand the idea that there was such a place, and they are intent on turning it into Cook County.
I grew up in California, and they did the same thing there (I left California for good in 1979, and haven’t looked back).
Delaware County used to only have 2 democrats. That’s changed over the years. The southern part of the County is now basically Columbus suburb.
The County in Georgia with about double the votes vs voters is in very rural NE Georgia. So much for that theory.
Well weve held the seat for 30 years. This shouldnt even be close.
As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 1,163,414 people, 477,235 households, and 278,030 families residing in the county. The population density was 2,186.1 inhabitants per square mile (844.1/km2). There were 527,186 housing units at an average density of 990.6 per square mile (382.5/km2). The racial makeup of the county was 69.2% white, 21.2% black or African American, 3.9% Asian, 0.2% American Indian, 0.1% Pacific islander, 2.3% from other races, and 3.0% from two or more races. Those of Hispanic or Latino origin made up 4.8% of the population. In terms of ancestry, 24.2% were German, 14.4% were Irish, 9.1% were English, 5.5% were Italian, and 5.0% were American.
Much of the southern part of Delaware county *is* columbus...
For real
Watching a live you tube. Some guy is reading tweets from various pundits. Says this is all early votes. Nothing unexpected so far.
What it should or shouldn’t be doesn’t matter. And win is a win. This is unprecedented political landscape post-Trump
Weirdly they started with blue area tonight. Very unusual.
I live in Kasichs old hometown. I vote at the same location he would if he were still living there.
I was impressed with the turnout and others have said the same thing.
That should bode well for Troy, but who knows.
Why not just wait til November?
Says 15% of vote in. No election day votes counted yet.
And Trump won by double digits there. What the hell is happening?
Still haven’t seen a name for that ‘little Fox News Info Babe’
would like to know who it is??? I watch FOX NEWS AND FOX BUSINESS NEWS ONLY...so am curious WHO she is...
just wondering.
All precincts should report at same time.
The seat is currently vacant and needs to be filled to give the district representation. If the vacancy had occurred a couple months later they probably would have waited and held both elections at the same time but that was not when the vacancy occurred.
Read the tread and you will know. Unless youre just trolling.
WELL, EXCUSE ME. YOU COULD WATCH AND FIGURE IT OUT. DO YOU WANT ME TO CONTACT A CONTRACTOR FOR YOU TOO?
