Big techs coordinated purge of InfoWars which was hit by bans from Apple, Facebook, Spotify and YouTube in rapid succession did not occur in a vacuum. On this issue, Silicon Valley bowed to CNN journalists and Democrat politicians who ceaselessly lobbied for the site to be censored. Its a sign of how the concentration of power in America has shifted from big government to big tech that politicians are now lobbying tech companies rather than the other way round, but thats exactly what happened over the course of the past few months, as Democrats applied relentless pressure on Facebook and other Silicon Valley giants to censor InfoWars.
Chief among them was Democratic Congressman Ted Deutch (D-FL), who demanded that a Facebook representative explain their decision not to ban InfoWars at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on social media censorship last month. Calling Jones as well-known conspiracy theorist whose brand is bullying, Deutch also demanded Googles representative explain how many strikes it would take for a channel on Google-owned YouTube to be deleted.
He then asked Googles representative if they thought conspiracy theories were a problem, and asked her to explain the companys planned solutions. It seems that YouTube has now come up with a solution: ban the channels that Rep. Deutch objects to.

Another straw man. Who's complaining about being banned from the Internet? Not a single poster here. The complaint is about being banned from YouTube, Facebook, Twitter. Not the Internet.
Let me repeat so you have a harder time putting up the next straw man. I'm not complaining about the internet. I'm complaining about YouTube, Facebook, Twitter. Conservatives are being banned as we speak. This is a big deal, dude.
“Conservatives are being banned as we speak. This is a big deal, dude. “
Nay.
It’s trivial and inconsequential.
My point about the internet, is not as a “straw man” as you keep insisting. The point is that any information banned/removed by the three you mentioned is EASILY available elsewhere.
Just get off Facebook and it’s everywhere else. I even pick it up on my Yahoo news feed and have posted dozens of articles from there onto this site.
The people who frequent Facebook are certainly not the audience for any thinking content. They are universally idiots.
2.3 Billion users per month, and you know each of them to say they are "universally idiots".
"Available" does not equate to views. If it did, Alex Jones wouldn't try to post on Facebook, since his website already has the content.
It's such a ginormous difference, that I think you miscounted the number of universal idiots. It's 2.3 billion and one.
“2.3 Billion users per month”
The same 2.3 billion every month, worldwide.
Posting cute cat videos and what they’re going to have for lunch, and “that friggin’ Mary thinks she’s better than everyone else”.
Facebook is for teenage girls. Predominantly. And secondarily for women generally. 70% - 80% of the activity on Facebook is from women, and that’s IF you also count the teens.
To represent it as a serious conveyance for information is ridiculous and absurd. And to represent it as an essential platform for the conveyance of information is worse, it exposes idiocy.
Serious people would be far more concerned about rumblings to regulate Drudge or any other Internet property. Not a social media platform for girls.
Women are allowed to vote, and whether they are knowledgeable politically or not they still are allowed to vote. Even if your scenario is correct, 20% of 2.3 billion is 460 Million. More than the entire population of the U.S.
And you again missed the total number of idiots. It's 2.3 billion and one.
“The biggest (and I grant you its YUGE) mistake he ever made.”
He managed to equal it with his claims about the Sandy Hook elementary school massacre.
You need to back off from the allusion to me being an idiot.
The internet is something I am expert in.
12% of the 2.23 billion, as of May, 2018 are Americans. Approximately 250 million monthly users.
And official Facebook data shows women post 3:1 over men.
In fact, only idiots believe Facebook is a serious conveyance of news and information. Drudge dwarfs them in that role. As does Yahoo and Google.
Of course, if you actually knew anything about the subject you’re posting about, you’d know that already.
“It happened, and those of us that are experienced saw it in real time and knew what had happened.”
It’s the “knew what had happened” part where your lunatic imagination takes over. The sane world can see that the World Trade Center was destroyed by the same Islamic group that tried to blow it up years before. Over in kook land you believe whatever your itching ears want to hear.
Make it against the law to discriminate based on political belief, just like all the protected classes.
So, using your figures (even though figures like 3:1 are not specific enough), 25% (3:1) of 250 million U.S. users add up to 62.5 million. Almost the popular vote total of President Trump in 2016 (62,980,160). So I guess I'll have to lean on you that that number is not important, since you're "The internet is something I am expert in".
The WTC was brought down by controlled demolition in the opinion of the world's foremost architects and engineers.
People who have built and/or demolished high-rise structures see this fact clearly.
Smowflakes like you are Vewy Scawed!

The “Sandy Hook elementary school massacre” where the ambulances drove up before it didn’t happen, and remained there for 14 hours?
That one?
.
Do some research and discover how much of that use is the trading/posting of news articles and you will be edified.
“The Sandy Hook elementary school massacre where the ambulances drove up before it didnt happen, and remained there for 14 hours?”
Here. Point out the part where the ambulances arrived. Take your time:
add TuneIn to that list
Why would I do your research? You're the one claiming that the billions of users are of not much consequence. Stop being such a lazy jackass like our liberal friends, and do something productive for once in your life instead of relying on others' assistance for your needs.
You’re a dumbass.
Don’t post to me anymore.
You’re the kind of “conservative” idiot that hurts our cause.
Don’t post to me, and don’t post anywhere anymore. You’re lucky that we aren’t face to face.
