The FBI Friday released 71 heavily redacted pages describing that it had corresponded with former British spy Christopher Steele, the author of a dossier alleging collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, and revealed the agency was paying him to gather intelligence.
The records show Steele was being paid for work as a "confidential human source" for an unspecified amount of time, and that he'd told the FBI he had informed a third party he was acting as an agency source, reports NBC News.
In addition, the papers show the FBI had determined Steele was the source for an online news article.
Even though the FBI has labeled the released file as "Records between FBI and Christopher Steele Part 01 of 01," the former spy's name itself doesn't appear in the documents, notes the Washington Examiner.
The redactions make it impossible to tell when the FBI started paying Steele, NBC News reported. However, in February 2016, the agency "admonished" Steele. A federal law enforcement official explained that this simply means he was briefed on his duties of being an informant, not being punished or criticized.
Then, on Nov. 1, 2016, just a week before the presidential election, the FBI told Steele he should not "obtain any evidence whatsoever on behalf of the FBI," as it was not likely to keep working with him.

I was going to note the ‘by force’ clause necessary to place a charge of sedition likely queers its use, unless color of authority is considered a ‘force’.
Thats all the Meuller Special Investigation is. Damage control for the dems trying to cover Obama’s/The Cankles/DOJ/CIA/FBI crimes aaginst the country, the electoral process and against the civil rights of the now President of the United States.

Payment to Steele for the dossier a is a scandal on its own.
I don’t think that Hannity ever listens to the people he interviews. Yesterday, he had Nunes on. Nunes has seen many of the documents, but Hannity would stop him from talking and lecture him.
For example, yesterday, Nunes mentioned that it seems like the Russian FSB (formerly, known as the KGB) may have written the whole dossier. I believe Nunes has mentined that twice to Hannity.
And yesterday, Hannity did not pick up on it, totally ignored the “bombshell” and closed out the interview.
And it better NOT include the crap brought up by the Hillary Campaign, including Fusion GPS, Perkins-Coie, or Christopher Steele.
If it does, then Mueller himself needs to be investigated by a special counsel, one that has a directive to also look into the Hillary Campaign and President Obama's dealings in election fraud.

Fusion GPS then hired Christopher Steele, a former British spy, to compile a dossier of allegations that Trump and his campaign actively colluded with the Russian government during the 2016 election. Though many of the claims in the dossier have been directly refuted, none of the dossier’s allegations of collusion have been independently verified. Lawyers for Steele admitted in court filings last April that his work was not verified and was never meant to be made public.

A Brit was paid by Hillary's minions and then by the FBI, passing some of that money on to Russians, in order to create the impression that Trump was colluding with people and organizations outside the United States. At least we know there really was collusion. Too bad for America's enemies on the left that we know it was them betraying America - as usual.

Don’t forget that Stefan Halper, the CIA ‘asset’ that tried to frame the Trump campaign, was actually paid by the Defense Department through something called the ‘Office of Net Assessment’.
I doubt Steele got much money himself and just laundered it back to Dems and McCain.

You are quite right. If one looks at all the leaders of the various agencies under Obama (fbi, cia, etc.), and all of his other staff, and pretty much all of the mass media (demoncrap propaganda arm), they will not be able to find anyone who ever tells the truth.
Hannity is the worst motormouth in the business. I swear, he's going to talk over his own eulogy some day.
