Amber Athey of the Daily Caller calls attention tweets by Jeongs about killing men, and also to tweets in which Jeong called for banning the police and expressed her animus towards police officers through profanity.
Cops are a**h***s, Jeong explained in 2015. She also tweeted f**k the police on several occasions over a period of years. One of these tweets included a gif of characters physically attacking a police officer.
The Times ludicrously has defended Jeongs tweets as satiric responses to hateful tweets by her Twitter adversaries. Perhaps the Times will show us the tweet from a police officer that Jeong was satirizing when she called cops a**h***s.
As for men, Jeong advocated killing them. In 2014, she tweeted: kill more men. She also tweeted that even if only bad men were killed, that would still include all men.
Theres a name for what Jeong was talking about: Genocide. Theres a name for people who write favorably about genocide: Deranged. Theres a place for people this deranged by hatred, and it isnt on the editorial board of a newspaper.
Or didnt use to be. Even in the heyday of New York radical chic, sentiments like Jeongs might get you invited to a cocktail party with Leonard Bernstein, but would not land you on the New York Times board of editors. Now, it will.
At this point, it doesnt matter whether the Times retains or sacks the racist, male-hating genocide-fantasizing Jeong. By hiring her with knowledge of her tweets and then standing by her, the Times has told us all we need to know. It has told us that it wants a male-hating, white-hating, sicko on its editorial board.
Firing Jeong now would just be an attempt by the Times to save face a face that ought not be saved.

she’s already doubled down after the NYT defended her by pulling out the ‘woman card’. As her latest argument goes, being harrassed online as a woman, (probably by other women since that is the norm) gives her authority to be a racist and man hater.
What the NYSlimes won’t advertise is the previous candidate for J’s job didn’t make it in the door because of tweets that have to be stretched half a mile to be anywhere near controversial.
But she wasn’t Asian and so probably wouldn’t have improved their minority inclusive numbers.
Not Our Values Alarm! Not Our Values Alarm!
Paul Ryan is displeased, along with everyone at National Review!
KEK!
Damn straight. Racism for thee...
Wait, are you seeing something in my text I didn't intend? All I am doing is expressing a valid concern and good sensible thoughts!!!! Nothing else!!!
> It was those old white men that liberated Korea. <
Damn straight. But who cares about them? Certainly not the folks in the New York Times newsroom.
On second thought,
Theres a place for people this deranged by hatred, and it is on the editorial board of the New York Times.
Are you also satirizing the way Miss Sarah did?

No. I think Laz is “counter-trolling”. That was another one of Jeongs bizarre excuses. We might as well use it too.
Sauce for the goose.
>>Theres a place for people this deranged by hatred, and it is on the editorial board of the New York Times.<<
In my opinion those who know about this skank’s hatred for white people and for law enforcement, and proceeds to lower themselves by reading and supporting the NYT, are demonstrating that they are no less evil than she is.
(That's for Trump to use, if he hasn't already.)
In most cases I would agree. But one can also peruse the pages of this bird cage liner to pick up nuggets to use against the New York Times. She will probably be an excellent source, a plentiful supply!
Don’t forget she would be working in that DOG-EAT-DOG industry of journalism!!!
Good stuff.
When you write about Chinese racist journalists you’ll feel like doing it again in a half hour.
Couldn’t resist.

Why would any publication turn off so many literates by appealing to a non-reading population? You can’t give away a NYT paper today; the internet didn’t just destroy the print media by saving readers a lot of time perusing unrelated info, but smartphones are easier to bring into the bathroom with you for some good old=fashioned toilet-reading.
You rascal you
