Because the News doesn't have any other story at the moment to attempt bashing Trump with? Just like illegals had been being separated adult/kids for years, but it only recently became an issue in order to smear Trump.

Jim Acosta doesn’t get to tell POTUS and Sara Sanders, etc., what they need to say.

I just hope he steps into something VERY big, VERY soon, and CNN cannot rescue his despicable ass.

Much gloating would be in order, if he were to be fired and shamed. Maybe someone can find some racist or homophobic, etc., tweets he sent out when he was 12....

If they stopped televising these briefings, better than half of all those White House “reporters” would ask for other assignments that would give them more TV time - PERIOD!

Or, the only time these particular people would actually be IN a briefing is when the President or a Cabinet member was present, otherwise, they would send some stenographer to these daily meetings!

They only ask gotcha questions in hopes of creating news about answers.

Yeah, the stupid questions they ask are all confrontational and downright silly. Toss out the trouble-maker reporters and revoke their credentials, until they can ask grown-up serious questions that people want reported. Wish someone would shove his mike up Acosta's rear, but he would probably like it.

Again: Cameras need to be taken out of the WH press briefings per the original proposal by McCurry (Clinton press sec'y) & Fleischer (Bush press sec'y). The only news emerging from these briefings involves confrontation and almost nothing involving substance. This is all a show.
