'Move, Jim!': CNN's Acosta Pretty Much Told To Get The Hell Out Of The Oval Office (Again)

It seems CNN’s Jim Acosta just loves being trashed by the Trump White House. It does get him to complain on live television, as if he’s some martyr, a beleaguered journalist under the crushing regime of some authoritarian country. He’s not, but here was another instance where White House staffers had to more or less tell Acosta to get the hell out of the Oval Office. It was a press spray event. Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte visited President Trump yesterday.

“This audio is a pretty good example of how the WH aides also known as press wranglers are almost screaming as reporters try to ask questions of Trump in our ‘pool sprays,’” he tweeted after the incident.

Good short video of obnoxious Acosta at the link.

There is a difference between a 'protester' protected by the First Amendment and a bully who disrupts a public meeting.

What a monkey show! That gaggle of reporters, mike booms and etc is disgusting!

They should have a lottery and let TWO news orgs in the oval office at one time.

The process needs to change. I recommend:

Moving the press briefing out of the WH
Require that all questions for the breifing be submitted on a standard web page 30 min prior to the briefing.

Do not open the meeting to questions from the floor. Rather, normalize the questions across the reporter submissions and the Internet submissions. Take the top 5 questions, read the questions at the briefing, and then comment or respond to the question.

Post both a transcript and a video of the briefing to the web after the briefing.

They need to construct a “press pen” for Acosta and other media rats, like they do at the Trump rallies. Sort of like the penalty box in hockey. If they misbehave put them in the box. If they still won’t shut up, it’s a “game misconduct” for the duration of that press conference.

Acosta is so aggressive and hostile that he needs to be banned from the WH as a danger.

Should have said “move on” as in a reference to the left’s moveon.org site. Give it a whole new meaning. ;)

I recommend a “Soccer Solution.” Anyone shouting question after President Trump’s closing “Thank you” should be given a yellow card. So many yellows equals a red card as does any extremely rude behavior. A red card. A red card puts you out for a year or perhaps permanently. There MUST be a return to some expected levels of decorum towards the President of the United States!

These people are “supposed” to be Professionals.

If they can’t act like it, they should be banned after the first temper tantrum.

If it happened the rest of the gaggle of gargoyles would behave themselves.

Poor US media complains that Trump “attacks the free press.” After Tommy Robinson was arrested the judge gagged not only the entire UK press, but everyone in the entire nation.

Yes, yellow/red cards handed out instantly at the time of the offense and publicized on TV and the web.

I wish there could be public spankings of these reporters. That would suppress the tantrums.
