At last someone puts this Russian "meddling" into some perspective. The Russians had little to no effect on the results of our election. It is sheer Dem and MSM hyperbole to suggest otherwise. And it is dangerous.

No one seems to mention that the Russians (and the Chinese) were cosigners to the Iran deal. Or that we depended on Russia for some time to get back and forth to the space station. Or that the Russians assisted us in facilitating our logistics in support of our presence in Afghanistan.

Russia is not our friend. They invaded Ukraine and seized Crimea. But it does not serve our national interests to be outwardly hostile and threatening. China is a far greater threat to our country. Russia is a gas station masquerading as a country. It is in a state of decline.

With all due respect, and I am sincere in voicing that respect, I think we should avoid getting into the mud and referencing people’s sexual orientation. I can’t stand Cooper’s politics, but I absolutely agree with you that he deserves credit for letting Cohen speak. What he does in his private life is not of interest to me.

This is a strange presentation. Cohen was a sort of apologist for the Soviet Union now he just sounds like someone articulating common sense [positions. Boot sounds crazy. He is trying to demonize alternate analysis and explanation. He certainly wants to portray the Russians as some sort of Nazi surrogate. This attempt to vilify and demonize Russia is certainly serving some sort of hidden agenda. Certainly a new Cold War would be materially very helpful to the punditocracy and the purveyors of ‘defense services’ such as the Carlyle group. This nasty exchange, if nothing else shows just how toxic public discourse has become.
