Kim Jong Un is not a friend and his behavior is typical of a dishonest dictator. None of his antics from here on out reflect upon Donald Trump or the success of the Singapore summit. It was worth it to sit down with Kim and the ultimate outcome was never going to be overnight in the first place.
Reflexively calling “fake news!” to every unpleasant news headline regarding a dictator or adversary nation is naivete of the utmost sort. And so is trying to badmouth every major course of US foreign policy prior to Trump and up to this point.
Sure. We want to avoid unnecessary conflicts. But it’s foolish to think the evil powers that be in the world will simply submit to our aims on a moment’s notice if we try to be “nice this time.”

I’m curious as to the source of this “intelligence” information. Did it come directly from the CIA types? If so, isn’t that jumping the political chain of command, and actually giving out state secrets to undermine the administration?
