Bob Woodward to detail 'harrowing life' inside Trump White House in new book

Veteran journalist Bob Woodward is working on a book that will detail the inner-workings of the Trump White House set for release before November's midterm elections.

The book, “Fear: Trump in the White House,” is set to be released on Sept. 11, according to the book’s Amazon.com pre-order page.

The book “reveals in unprecedented detail the harrowing life inside President Donald Trump’s White House and precisely how he makes decisions on major foreign and domestic policies,” according to Amazon.

The cover depicts a close-up of Trump's face, cast in a red filter.

Woodward’s account is based on “hundreds of hours of interviews with firsthand sources, meeting notes, personal diaries, files and documents.”

The book's release date comes less than two months before Election Day.

CNN reported that Woodward, who is renowned for his work on the Watergate investigation, has been working on the project for the last eight months. The work is based primarily on first-hand sources.

Woodward has written more than a dozen books on the previous two presidential administrations.

Woodward's will not be the first book to offer an inside look at the Trump White House. Author Michael Wolff notably documented behind-the-scenes interactions in his book "Fire and Fury."

The book drew the ire of Trump, who tweeted angrily about it ahead of its release.

While a number of that book's claims were challenged or fell apart under scrutiny, it did lead to a fallout between Trump and former chief strategist Stephen Bannon.

Bannon was quoted extensively in Trump's book speaking critically of the president and his family.

Former White House aides Omarosa Manigault also has a forthcoming book recounting her time in the White House.

Former Trump press secretary Sean Spicer released a book earlier this month recounting his time in the White House. The book gives largely glowing reviews to the president, whom Spicer praises as a “rock star.”

During a publicity tour to promote the book, Spicer, who was widely mocked for his time behind the White House lectern, has expressed regret over his handling of certain interactions with the press during his tenure, but stood by Trump and his policies.

When was the last time Woodward was in the White House?

When he interviewed Deep Throat.

Most of the details about the Trump White House come from Bill Casey who was on his deathbed at the time of the interview. In 1987.

Did he ever write a book about his harrowing experiences with Obama’s people?

I would be if surprised major player would have a private conversation with bob.

However, based on what I have seen and read I would bet it’s kind of like a sweat shop trying to keep up with Trump. 8 hours days are probably not part of WH staff operations.

Nice to see superior private sector management practices in the executive branch for a change.

Guaranteed that nobody in the White House worked hard out of respect for this faggot...

One thing they have become professionals at... LYING.. making it up as they desire, for their beliefs.. to make a sour point and try to destroy a man of honor.

When are we going to stop being the nice people who let the left do whatever they want to us as a people!

The elite in our country, are the worst bunch of hypocrits in the world... sitting in their high places, making judgments and indoctrinating our youth so they can control the masses as soon as the rest of us die off.. and if they can hasten that with obamacare, etc... so be it.

I like how the Washington Post clowns target a conservative but give a pass to obama and clinton.

It won’t break my heart when these sleazebags are planted in the ground.

If they’re not holding democrats up to the same standard, I wish the absolute worst on them.

Likely ghost written by clumsy liar and all around idiot John Brennan. After all, Deep Throat was really a bunch of CIA dimwits, and not Mark Felt.

Well, judging by the results, a harrowing life in the White House should be mandatory for every future president.

Translation: Desperate faded glory hack will have a book full of lies siting unnamed sources and the Marxist Media will gobble it up.

Nope. That took place in a nondescript parking garage. If it ever actually happened. Many observers believe that “Deep Throat” was a made-up character, even if his supposed identity was later revealed.

Woodward has been making up fake news for over 40 years. I remember when he made up the story about William Casey confessing o the Iran-Contra thing on his death bed. This guy has been shamelessly lying through his teeth for decades.

“Nice to see superior private sector management practices in the executive branch for a change.”

Exactly right. I’ve had lots of CEOs and worked for a couple. They are extremely demanding bosses. You don’t become CEO without being demanding and expecting people to perform at high levels all the time.

Hardly “harrowing” — it’s just the norm for an accomplished senior executive. That bastard homo hadn’t done a day’s honest work in his entire life and it showed throughout those eight, awful, and “harrowing” years.

Has there ever been an attack on a president like there is on President Trump?

Have these folks declared war on us?
