WASHINGTON (AP) Sen. Bernie Sanders Medicare for all plan would increase government health care spending by $32.6 trillion over 10 years, according to a study by a university-based libertarian policy center.
Thats trillion with a T.
The latest plan from the Vermont independent would require historic tax increases as government replaces what employers and consumers now pay for health care, according to the analysis being released Monday by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University in Virginia. It would deliver significant savings on administration and drug costs, but increased demand for care would drive up spending, the analysis found.

Were not like Canadians for whom higher taxes to pay for public health care is an obligation.
We simply wont take up that tax burden to make it work - they couldnt do it in liberal Vermont.
Bernie Sanders is the states senator but he wont tell people what Medicare For All really costs.
Or what the drawbacks are.
You know the Left will counter with “yeah, but what are you spending on premiums currently?”
Anybody have that number?
Democrat Scum & Vermin, insanity on the prowl....Vote Democrat and destroy the American nation & Republic.
Side bar, folks...Where is Barack Hussein Obama, the Democrat MEGA, criminal, low life, shining star, the number one Campaigner of the Democrat Party? Nowhere to be found on the campaign trail. I mean, how dumb can the Democrats be? I guess pretty darn dumb, maybe dumber, maybe, dumbest...yes...”DUMBEST”!!!
Great. We can have health care, but it will kill us all.
I think at that point we would have nothing whatsoever, because the government will have taken it all.
I was reading a story earlier today about how a city government made a 91 year old woman take the the beautiful wheel chair ramp her son built her, because no permit had been issued for the ramp.
These are not the type of people we want to put in charge of our health care, or anything else for that matter.
Government is no one friend but government’s.
Medicare is also available for the disabled, receiving Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) aged less than 64.

True, but there is a 24 month waiting period after SSDI is approved before they can get Medicare. The disabled person then has to pay the monthly premiums for Medicare, just as those persons who are over 65.
My 54 y/o daughter was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease a couple of years ago and approved for SSDI on the first application (many folks applying must do so 3-4 times).
Hashimoto’s is an immune system disease that seems to short-circuit the system throughout the body; eczema, nerve pain that causes numbness in limbs, sleep disorders, etc. She currently has to take about 20 different Rxs and vitamins every day. The cost is very high.
SSDI pays her $1000 a month. When she gets on Medicare they will deduct her premiums from her monthly payments, just like they do from my SSA payments.
