On this week’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) said the Department of Justice was stalling turning over documents to Congress with the hopes that the Democrats win the majority in the House of Representatives and shut down the investigations.
Nunes said, “I’ve seen this game played many times before. There is a stall game going on at DOJ and FBI. They are trying to stall as much as they can, hoping and betting that Republicans would lose the House in the fall. If that happens, it essentially shutdowns everything. Rod Rosenstein wouldn’t be held for contempt. FBI will not be held accountable. All of the investigations will be shut down, everything will be buried, and you will be left with media narratives saying ‘Oh, what the public can’t read, what’s blackout is what’s really bad stuff against Carter Page and the Republicans and the Trump campaign.’ That’s why the sooner the president declassifies, the better. The American people need to understand how important it will be to get out and vote in the election.”
On the efforts to impeach Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Nunes said, “What I can tell you is there was a move late last week to begin impeachment. I think there are grounds for impeachment and we should hold them accountable. Congress has given them way too much power.”

There should not be a summer recess for the US Senate or HOR until several conditions are met. One should be that those documents are turned over. I wish they were confirming Kavanaugh before they took any time off. Why give the maniacs time and opportunity to gin up some fake issue?

Well, it’s not like we had an AG who was actually alive.
I’m afraid the level of fraud in the election is going to be mindblowing. And I wouldn’t put an outright coup attempt past those bastards.
If the GOP picks up seats in the House, I think, you can expect the pink slips in DoJ will flow like wine. I cannot think of a better reason to vote Republican.
It’s going to cost the DOJ and FBI blockers a lot of time in the end and no way out they will not see it coming until it’s to late.

Nunes is right, Donald Trump needs to declassify everything right away.
They also want to run out the clock for Hillary and all of her ilk. And our spineless republican congress will allow it to happen.

Why didn’t GOP majority (at least on paper) clean up DOJ and FBI a year ago, unless uniparty GOP likewise wants to get rid of outsider Trump, corrupt, anti-Trump Congress possibly hiding behind DOJ and FBI?
Or did I miss where Congress is now funding Trump’s wall?
Patriots, we need to elect a state sovereignty-respecting Congress in the 2018 midterm elections that will not only clean up DOJ and FBI, but will also support Trump’s vision for MAGA.
It does seem like we are reaching the point where the rest of the country is going to have to march on the DC area, including Northern Virginia, and set things right.
