Trump's bigger problem is the domestic opposition he is experiencing from both within Congress and from without by special interests. The globalists are undermining him during these negotiations. The Chinese, Canadians, etc. are working with the domestic opposition to torpedo Trump. The Chinese and EU retaliatory sanctions are specifically directed to hurt Trump with his political constituency whether it is soybeans or bourbon.
Trillions of dollars are at stake. The globalists will do whatever is necessary to maintain the status quo. They include Dems, RINOs, the Chamber of Commerce, etc. Trump is fighting a tremendous headwind.
Thanks,Trump will save the day its our job to get the story out. We need to constantly show the difference between our side and theirs.
Of course Mitch’s wife is so skilled she just happens to get these high paying jobs.
Between Friday and Monday, no.
Hannity, Laura Ingraham?
Read yesterday that the Chinese stock market is down 18% from when the trade war started. They have real threats to their economy if we hurt them and there is real fear of a collapse.
Look to them being back to the negotiating table soon.
Fox panel and Wallass were just horrible. Premise today was to play clips of both Mnuchin and POTUS saying things at odds with what EU said( re the soybean issue). Mnuchin said he was in the room when agricultural products were discussed at length, but this was not good enough for them.
I was waiting for the GDP number to come up. Tight on schedule the black guy on the panel said this GPD was the result of Obama’s policies, with the whole panel nodding their head in apparent agreement. Guliani seemed subdued and I thought answered all the questions in a calm reflective manner.he did say several times that Cohen has lied and discredited himself. Jonah Goldberg has such an intense hatred for the POTUS he is unable to refrain himself. His last shot was to again repeat the meme today that POTUS lies all the time.
Thanks, AB...checking in from the middle of nowhere...on the Madison River ...just sent the hub out fly fishing...peace and quiet and the Sunday funnies, er talk shows.
The concentration is to stay with Cohen and Trumps aged gal pals. Stuff that all happened years ago. It's all they have.
If they talk about tariffs they lose, economy, they lose. Almost any topic you pick they lose. So created scandals like Russian collusion or old gal pals is about all they have.
Jesse Watters, Judge Pirro
Agree. It was the most one-sided show and panel I have ever seen on Fox. The panelists all hate Trump and Wallass couched the questions and topics to provide a launching pad of undisguised hate and vile accusations. Totally unwatchable.
Jonah is a disgrace!
(And his wife is a speechwriter for Haley, whom I don’t trust any more than Romney or McCain.)
I am not a sanguine as you are about Trump's chances of forcing China to cave given the widespread US domestic opposition by the elites and special interests. The MSM is spreading the lies about how devastating this is to IS consumers and businesses.
I’ve been praying for a few good Maccabees for years and God gave us Trump. I hope it’s enough but think we might need Gideon’s army and an angel that can slaughter 170,000 politicians in a night just in case.
Wallass read this tweet out from POTUS this AM:
I would be willing to shut down government if the Democrats do not give us the votes for Border Security, which includes the Wall! Must get rid of Lottery, Catch & Release etc. and finally go to system of Immigration based on MERIT! We need great people coming into our Country!
The panel laughed out loud and all agreed that POTUS would NEVER do this 30 days before an election. Meme again was to show that POTUS simply lies.
Fox is, for the most part, very pro Trump.
I keep it on all day—except when Shemp and Cavuto are on—and do so because I want to support its RELATIVELY “fair and balanced” reporting.
I can listen to people say things that I do not agree with and yell at them in the privacy of my living room, but then cheer at a well-spoken counter point!
Fortunately, my apartment has RELATIVELY sound-proof walls, which are—for now at least—not padded! :-)
There are plenty of other Aisian trading partners that produce such products, let them have a turn at the US markets and experience some more growth.
I've seen labels saying made in: Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, etc etc etc. None of them pose any military threat to the US.
Ska-rew China.
