Country music star Eric Church is making his feelings about the NRA very clearand they arent pleasant.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the signer cast blame on the NRA for Congress lack of action after the Las Vegas massacre, the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history that left 58 people dead and more than 800 injured.
I blame the lobbyists, Church told the magazine. "And the biggest in the gun world is the NRA.
Church was a headliner at the Route 91 Harvest Festival where the shooting took place, performing just two nights earlier. His fans were among the victims, and, understandably, it got to him.
It got dark for me for a while, the signer admitted. I went through a period, a funk, for six months at least. I had anger. Ive still got anger. Something broke in me that night, and it still hasnt healed. Theres a part of me that hopes it haunts me forever.
The shooting also seems to have warped his views on firearms a bit, although Church still claims hes a Second Amendment guy" who owns about half a dozen rifles, shotguns and pistols.

Former star says: "It got dark for me for a while, the signer admitted. I went through a period, a funk, for six months at least. I had anger. Ive still got anger." Hmmmm. Sounds like a candidate for firearm confiscation with all those anger issues. Which he shouldn't mind since you just never know when one of those firearms will go on a killing spree. So, assclown, let me ask you, being a guitar player myself, when I screw up a chord or hit a bad note, should I bitch about the strings or the guitar for being the cause. It certainly couldn't have been me. Book your next tour for Dumbassistan. Giving rolling stone an interview in the first place should be the death knell for your act.
You have to figure out what actually happened before you start going after “solutions”... I’m not sure anyone really knows what actually happened in Las Vegas. At least they aren’t telling “the people” what really happened.
Well yeah, he had been there two day prior performing so I don’t believe he was even in the state that day.
That worked really well for the dixie chicks.
Fake Country Drama Queen wasnt even there.
Former country star...who nobody ever heard of anyway. Must be from New Jersey.
“Something broke in me that night, and it still hasnt healed.”
Logic? Reason?
Church = drama queen douchebag
Church = drama queen douchebag
I blame Vegas on Eric Church.
With my deepest condolences to the friends and families of those lost, and thoughts/prayers to those injured — you, on the other hand, Churh, can go to Hell.
Nothing like pissing off 50% of your former audience/fan base.
What this asshat does for a living is not country music — it’s bro’ country, and it bears no resemblance to real country music. Compare this knothead to Hank, the Hag, Johnny, the Possum, George Strait, or even today’s Mo Pitney, and he comes off looking like Taylor Swift.
Watching career suicide is fun.
The FBI knows more about the killer than what they are telling us. That is what PISSES me off. I bet this guy is connected with “resistance” movement or ANTIFA, and if the FBI would admit it all HELL would break loose!
The left infected C&W long ago, none of these God and Country frauds were willing to perform at Trumps inauguration. They are all in for the LBTQ bs.
Good God. Leftists absolute do not need to own guns. Their feelings rule them, by their own accounts. Humans who allow their feelings to rule them belong to two categories-children, and the insane. Neither of which we (at least historically) allow to make important decisions.
To think that actual children used to grow up with enough command of their emotions to learn how to shoot a gun from an early age, and this was not uncommon.
Hes one of those alt country types who, along with the bro-country, have bastardized country music.
