Attorney General Jeff Sessions fiercely defended his deputy Rod Rosenstein on Thursday morning after a group of House conservatives introduced an impeachment resolution against him.
“My deputy, Rod Rosenstein, is highly capable,” Sessions said at an event in Boston when asked to address the impeachment efforts. “I have the highest confidence in him. You probably know that not only did he go to the Wharton School of Business, but he graduated from Harvard right here in this area.”

I’m hoping the impeachment vote will give Trump enough cover to fire him. Why can’t Sessions keep his mouth shut. Just release the documents to the oversight committee and everything would be fine.
He is recused from the Special Counsel case. Trump should fire him before the sun sets.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions . . . a totally worthless POS considering that Hillary and all her disgusting crowd are still un-indicted and not wearing cuffs. This Rosenstein is a contemptible total fool.
Sessions is totally anti-Trump, and he’s the only thing that makes me wonder about Trump’s disappointing moves. Obviously, Hillary must have Sessions by the ass with some goodies and is daring him to take the first step.
This says what I thought could be the case. RR is like others turned and is playing out a role in the string toward the eventual outcome taking out the seditionists.
This is IMHO the reason Sessions is out on this. If RR was close to being bounced for bad actions, re: signing off on the fourth FISA warrant, this wouldn’t happen.
There’s a double game being played here. It’s well-designed and will bear fruit.
Let’s see what transpires around Labor Day.

Sessions was a good Senator. He always said the right things and seemed to stand for the right things. Apparently he was all talk. So sad. I thought he’d do a good job as AG.
Sessions is a beltway lifer. Occam’s razor applies here. No need for conspiracy theories.
One of us is going to have to admit one day how wrong we were.
