My only regret about the 2016 election is that Ryan didn’t run against Trump and receive a Trump humiliation nickname.
Argh! I am going to have to work to get that punishment out of my mind!
Yes, TS SCI as a J3 Special Ops TF and Asst G-3 101st ABN.
And that is my point, Clapper (et al) should have a defined need to know based on benefit to the current administration. Just being a former DNI (CIA director, etc.) should not equate to unlimited access to classified data. Especially if the individual takes a position where access to that data is being used for their monetary benefit and becomes detrimental to the current administration.
I have not heard any of the talking heads mention the limiting need to know. I do not believe the deep state is enforcing need to know, either by defined limits on the former official and what current employees can relate.
Once again, there is a distinction between clearance and access. One can have a clearance but if there is no need to know, they should not have access. A clearance without access is like a diploma, its a piece of paper and a line on a resume. There is no reason for any of these Obama admin pukes to have access and that should be strongly enforced, to include reprimands for current officials granting access.
“What a jerk.”
The percentage of time Ryan is correct when he is quoted in the press is very low.
They should have security clearance only if they are advising President. If not they should not have security clearance at all none of them.
Does Paul Ryan have a security clearance, and if so will he keep it after leaving the govt this Nov? How many lobbyists have security clearance? It would be good and beneficial for the voting citizens of this country to know the details of clearance and the levels of security afforded to those who have a clearance. I suspect that this clearance is used and abused by the likes of Brennan and his confederate anti Trumpers. We have seen how the US laws have been corrupted to damage the Trump presidency and a good many citizens and voters no longer trust the agencies that are still in the grip of former employees who have access to people and information that is not available to the general public. They still think they are special and above the law that is forced on, in their minds, low level tax payers. Watch Paul Ryan turn up on a huge remuneration pay roll of some lobbyist firm or corporate enterprise where his former govt employment and influence brings top dollar. Pull all non govt employed security clearance permits now and start over. Including past presidents and others who can easily get a need to know clearance for limited occasions, as often as needed. Clean House.
Thank you soo much for your service. Glad you’re catchin some break time and glad you are spending some of your time here. Always enjoyed your posts.
Only good thing about living in the D.C.area is the opportunity to volunteer at Walter Reed. (Started out volunteering on Ward 52, the amputation ward during the war with Iraq.)
Think the world of you guys...and then some.
Back fill that swamp of radioactivity.
Thank you so much.
Former US officials with clearance go to foreign countries and have access to information gained from those countries spying on us.
Great Article. I love reading the articles you post. Kudos to you M’am!
Thank you!
Do it, it makes sense and everyone agrees except elected Democrats and the media.
Pas de quois mon amie! ( Grin!)
Brennan’s clearance yanked today. Bless you, Mr. President.
