A special prosecutor would normally be appointed to investigate and prosecute crimes that had already been identified.

In Mueller's case, there was no crime identified. Collusion, whatever that means, legally, is not a crime. So he set out to find a crime.

Mueller's job was to assume Trump was guilty of something and went on a fishing expedition to find that something.

Like Trey Gowdy said the other day, if there was any evidence of collusion at all, Adam Schiff would have leaked it already.

Trump is correct. This is nothing more than a political witch hunt.
