Q:" Is 50 percent obviously too high?"
(Warren)A: "Thats why you sit down and you negotiate over the numbers."
She's really up for MORE THAN 50% if she can get it.

That's what Progressives like Warren visualize the American "plantation" to be--a place where political "elites" decide how the fruits of your labor will be "redistributed" to their own voters!
To: CptnObvious
That’s just for starters.
Their target is 100%...................

They always site those astronomical rates, but they fail to mention:
1 - there were a ridiculous amount of deductions
2 - it was a cash society and business owners got rich by not claiming income
3 - the banks werent electronically monitoring and snitching on us

She wants to be a slave master! Take peoples money, control their labor, dictate their actions and feed them a pittance.

Is there a video of her saying this?
To: CptnObvious
What Democrats really want is to tax everyone 100%, and then the government could pay them back whatever it thinks they deserve. Which would be enough to keep them alive so they could work and pay taxes, no more.

Yes, yes, you go girl.
That’s a real good idea.

Back in the 50s while Ike was in the WH, the top marginal (empahsis on marginal) tax rate was 91%.

When you factor in State and local, sales taxes, excise taxes, property taxes and a myriad of fees, it already is at, and has well passed 50%.
So, what is she gunning for in actuality? 75% tax?
