House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., accused "certain members of the press" of working for the Democratic Party on Monday, while addressing divergent takes among journalists and experts about whether this weekend's release of top-secret documents related to the wiretapping of one-time Trump campaign aide Carter Page adds credence or detracts from his panel's memo on alleged surveillance abuse.
"One of the things you have to realize that with all the press. Certain members of the press work for the Democratic Party. And the Lawfare blog is one of them," the California Republican said. "Every day there's a new attack. I don't put a lot of credibility into what they say."

We’ve known that for a long time.
He’s got it backwards, it is the “press” that is in the drivers seat, they are the ones issuing the dems their marching orders. After the election in 2016, the NY Times announced that was going to take a step back and figure out what went wrong. After a few days or a few hours of contemplation, they decided that they hadn’t attacked, belittled, and smeared Trump enough. They and the others in the 4th Estate (or is that 5th Column), decided that they would make a ginned up outrage out of everything Trump says or does, doesn’t sway or doesn’t do, and the dems meekly went along with that decision without a single peep of protest.
The Democrat Party is the political arm of the MSM. Been that way for years.
Ever since 1972, the Media believes its only job [reason for existence] is to destroy and unseat any President the Democrats party does not like.
Likewise, the media believes that their existence is protected by the Constitution such they understand themselves to be separate but equal branch of the government.
