You have to wonder if newspapers, TV networks, sports teams, restaurants, etc. will ever realize that alienating half your audience is not a good business model.

I look forward to the last NY Daily news frontpage. Can’t wait to see what’s on it.

Exactly!
Why should I feel bad about not buying propaganda? They made their bed. They killed journalism, and the REAL damage was in 2007 - not reporting the demise coming in 2008. WSJ and other had the story and NOBODY PRINTED IT.
That was news you could actually use. Then there was Ubangi the Usurper. Total pass. Clinton. Pass.
They’re supposed to hate everybody equally. The ultimate cynics. I remember when they went after Scoop Jackson about his speaking fees. He would NOT talk about where that money was going.
Turns out ever nickel was going into a trust run by his sister to help out teachers and kids. He never got a dime. It was journalists, though, that outed him, and they did their jobs.
Jackson, Moynihan, Nunn - makes the current crew of D’s look like pathogens on a public toilet.

They alienated more than half—since their primary audience was working class white people.
Supporting a candidate that calls your readers “deplorable” is not a winning strategy.

Rich also tweeted on Monday: If you hate democracy and think local governments should operate unchecked and in the dark, then today is a good day for you. How about...
If you hate democracy and think local newspapers should operate unchecked, devoid of news and delivering political advocacy exclusively, and keeping their readers in the dark, newswise, then today is a bad day for you?

I, for one would hate to see newspapers go away completely. I bought a Houston Chronicle just last week. Nothing beats a good newspaper for starting my charcoal in my Weber grill:

AJ Liebling would point the fault lays in the Press itself.

Newspapers make awesome insulation too.
To: Mr. K
After endorsing Hillary Clinton and her getting millions as a result, I do not see Hillary rushing to help them out much.
But they will blame Trump, you see.
