Try cooking bacon in the oven. It avoids super-heating the bacon in spots in a pan which is what produces carcinogens in treated meats which is what bacon is.

My favorite way to cook bacon is in a George Forman grill. It leaves just a little of that yummy grease flavor, doesn’t cook quite as evenly as an oven, but far better than a frypan. Foreman’s invention ranks right up there with sliced bread, in my opinion . . . and so many wonderful variations!

I had Sunday brunch at a restaurant that had the perfect thick cut bacon. Not soggy, undercooked, or burnt (over cooked). They bake it in an oven, instead of using a frying pan.
