Two of the three most prominent 2020 possibilities have long identified with the Democratic Left, Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, as have possible darkhorse candidates,Senators Sherrod Brown and Jeff Merkley. Several others, like Senators Kamala Harris, Chris Murphy and Amy Klobuchar, while not aggressively ideological, have no strong connection to the Clinton-Obama centrist tradition.
The freeloaders don't give a rip who it is just as long as he/she/it has a pulse and a pen.

There are so few the question is hardly worth asking.

LOL! Clinton & Obama are centrists. This is a battle between the old school masked socialists and the new unmasked socialists.
The masked socialists have always run as centrists to fool the mushy middle low information voter.
We will see how that mushy middle reacts to the new unmasked socialists.

It depends on what happens in the 2018 election. If there is a blue wave, then the progressives will nominate their candidate, probably Elizabeth Warren. If there is no change, or the GOP gains, then the Dems will probably look elsewhere.

Many are coming over to the Right, or at least President Trump's side.
What this means is that there is an evident and ongoing change and synthesis within the Right.
Don't believe me? Look at the the #WalkAway movement, or facebook groups like this: Triggered Millennials

Democrats only see the letter at the end of the name. They know nothing of the issues, Constitution, but do know they can never vote for anyone without that letter D.
