After an NFL season of flag-dissing protests and kneeling during the national anthem that left fans furious, and slammed TV ratings, one League team announced a tough new policy to shut it down.
And some players are angry, claiming the announcement "blind-sided" them.
On Thursday afternoon, it was reported that the NFL’s Miami Dolphins will suspend and/or fine players who protest during the national anthem.

The damage is done.
Cut em. They aint worth it. There are a ton of players who would love to play the game and most of them will actually have their hearts into it.
First offense - fine of 5% of salary. Second offense - 15% of salary. Third offense - suspended without pay for 2 months. Fourth offense - contract severed.
Dolphins or the nfl don’t have the b**** to do that....that would stop it however...

They are totally cowed by the racial aspect of it. If it were not for that, they could have nipped it in the bud.
I disagree.Fire their ass the first time a knee touches the grass.They would have never tried this crap 20 years ago.I remember the 68 mexico olimpics with the black power fist in the air by black americans.They lost the gold medals right there and then.They didnt try that crap again.

It’s pretty much too late to change anything.
Go look for empty seats in the first couple of games for this season. TV cameras will try to avoid it, but it’s going to be a bigger problem.
TV contracts coming up will be for lesser dollars, and it’ll influence future union negotiations.

1st strike = 8 game suspension + no pay
2nd strike = 1 year suspension + no pay
3rd strike = NFL ban for life
First they need “sensitivity” training to make them understand the pain and suffering they are causing others....
...not to mention how stupid they look.
Good for the Dolphins management. It’s a simple workplace rule. If the players dont want to abide by it, they are welcome to work elsewhere.
