In a dramatic move Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell withdrew the nomination of President Donald Trump’s pick for the Ninth Circuit, Ryan Bounds, after reports surfaced that his nomination didn’t have enough votes for confirmation. Bounds, an assistant U.S. attorney in Oregon for the last eight years, was the Trump administration’s first nominee to the Ninth Circuit, named in September to replace Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain, for whom Bounds clerked. O’Scannlain took senior status at the end of 2016.
Both of Bounds’ home-state senators, Democrats Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley, opposed his nomination. They withheld their blue slips for Bounds, in part, claiming he failed to disclose to their screening committee opinion pieces he wrote for a conservative student paper during his undergraduate studies at Stanford University.
In one article, Bounds railed against “race-focused groups” on college campuses, accusing them of fostering what he described as “race-think.” During his confirmation hearing, Bounds acknowledged the “overheated” and “overbroad” nature of his rhetoric, but defended his record of helping promote diversity within the profession. One Republican senator, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina, had indicated to colleagues earlier on Thursday he wouldn’t be able to vote for Bounds, according to a Capitol Hill reporter. Citing Bounds’ racial remarks, Scott said he needed more time before voting to approve the pick.
He was doing the job for which two scum-sucking degenerate senators say he's not qualified.

A college undergrad writing an article that gets into a college newspaper can be rejected for a federal judgeship if some leftist Senator finds a now forbidden thought or word in the decades-old article. Of course, only conservatives are held to this standard. A leftist judicial candidate can have a history of all sorts of inflammatory acts or speech as long as it’s directed at the right.

He obviously is becoming less effective each day, and is surrounded by imbecile advisers and enemies.

Pick off a few Democrats in the Senate in November and then renominate him.

No one should think much of any US senator or US represenative. The only reason they are in that position is that they are so worthless they could not do anything else to buy food to survive. They all give dog molesters a bad name!

Mormons will not decide the Arizona Senate election.
45% of Arizona is Hispanic, American Indian, Black, or Asian.
American Conservatives need to accept the blunt fact that, demographically, we are finished.
Conservatives have managed to hold onto some political power for the last two decades only because we almost always have the highest voter turn out.
But we have now reached the point where even exceptional turn out cannot overcome the sheer numbers of massive LEGAL immigration.
We have only ourselves to blame.
In June 2018, Pew Research published a poll that showed that 65% of Republicans want the annual number of LEGAL immigrants (1.4 million in 2017) to stay the same, or increase.
Maybe we can we hold the Congress in 2018 and the White House in 2020.
But after 2020, we have already committed political suicide.
