Well, I guess Poland’s leadership can be excused for being on the front lines and yet not knowing as much as our Leftists.

Rationality, reason, logic and objectivity.
It’s all too rare these days.

Seriously, the Poles are a tough bunch.Anyone who doubts that need only look up "King Jan Soebeiski" or "1683 Siege of Vienna".

That was EXACTLY my first thoughts
God bless ‘em, no one’s paid the price over such a long time as the Poles
No wonder they cherish freedom and hate Russia
The crybabies of Western Europe could take lessons from people who’ve lived under oppression
Throw in some Americans and Canadians too

Then again, the Germans fought and put up a good fight against all of Europe and the US twice...And look at them now.
Toughness isn't passed down in the blood. The Poles are good on some ways, but also remember that Poles have no right to self-defense or weapons.

I love Poland. Great country.

I personally enjoy a good Jackson Pollock joke.I'm so confused...
Jackson Pollock was an American painter and a major figure in the abstract expressionist movement. He was well known for his unique style of drip painting....

Perhaps I will, one day.

"Seriously, the Poles are a tough bunch."
Just read a short article last night about the Poles at the beginning of WWII, how the Russians deported most of them to camps, and the gulags. How they were all put on trains, and the atrocities that occurred on board the trains. Babies being tossed out of the trains if they were sick...same with adults who had died...alot of horrid stuff. And then of course the Katyn massacre that the Russians tried to blame on the Nazis.

My dad worked in the steel mill and he called his best friend The Polock. It was an affectionate nickname for the biggest, kindest man I had ever seen in my young life. You could barely understand a word he said but you always knew his meaning.
I have always had a very warm spot in my heart for the Polish people because of him.
