Those are a gorgeous color! I see what you mean about tiny blooms. What a shame the kittehs killed your gardenia plant. I think they’re pretty delicate anyway, huh?

We have some called Yellow Bells but if they have another name, I don’t know it.

My lavender has been blooming since spring and it’s funny how the blooms are on very long skinny stalks. The same stalks just keep having the tiny purple flowers on them. I think when summer is over I’ll bring all the stems in and try to dry them. Love that fragrance, too. And I didn’t realize it, but the leaves smell awesome, too!

They really brighten up the beds on the two sides of the front porch. They’re the only thing blooming in those beds at present and there are a gazillion of them. They are VERY prolific flowers.

Yes, gardenias are pretty delicate and if the cats hadn’t killed them, I probably would have. LOL! I don’t have the greenest of thumbs.

LOVE the fragrance of lavender and tried to grow some several years ago. I don’t know if they weren’t getting enough sun, the ground was too wet, what was going on but I had no luck with it. Lucky you having a bunch to dry and place throughout the house.
