And I am just reading today. Actually, I’m lying in bed with serious back pain. I have two ruptured disks which caused me enormous pain. It started in Dec. 25, 1990. But, in 2013, I was miraculously healed.
I was really upset when similar pain began again. I believe I mentioned it here.
I also have a history of UTIs, including a rather painful bout in 2008 which hospitalized me during the RAT convention. The nurses at that time were a bit concerned about my very low blood pressure. I told them to turn the RAT convention on. My BP went up to normal levels then! True story.
So, this particular back pain began a week ago Friday. I let my oncologist know (July 11) and he kindly gave me a prescription for Soma. I took some that night, the next night, and Friday night. It did not help, so I haven’t indulged since.
The pain is much worse today and has settled down to my right flank. About an hour ago my temp began rising. When it reaches 100 I will head to the ER. In the meantime, I am downing cranberry juice and resting and hoping the temp will go back down. I am hoping that I’m being a hypochondriac.
My beloved sister-in-law’s mom died over the weekend. We leave on Wednesday for the service on Thursday. This is not a good time for health issues.

So very sorry you are having this back pain again and with no relief.
A temp means infection, may need something stronger than cranberry juice to flush it out.
