(PHILADELPHIA) — The U.S. homeland security secretary said on Saturday there are no signs that Russia is targeting this year’s midterm elections with the same “scale or scope” it targeted the 2016 presidential election.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen spoke at a convention of state secretaries of state, an event that’s usually a low-key affair highlighting voter registration, balloting devices and election security issues that don’t get much public attention. But coming amid fresh allegations into Russia’s attempts to sway the 2016 election, the sessions on election security have a higher level of urgency and interest.

I have yet to see any credible evidence presented that would establish that Russia undertook a targeted effort to affect our elections in 2016. The only credible claim is that Russia conducted hacking—and that is nothing new; the Russians, as well as many other foreign entities, attempt to hack into American information systems all the time.

OTOH, there is plenty of evidence that Mexico did target our elections in 2016 and continues to do so, with aid and abetting from various US officials. How many of Hillary’s popular votes were actually cast by illegally registered illegal aliens? Didn’t Massachusetts just enact “automatic” voter registration to ensure that there is no vetting of whether voters who are registered are legal to vote?

Perhaps instead of chasing Russian squirrels, we should be pursuing the very real vote fraud.

the NSA whistleblower was on OANN News about 15 min ago, and he stated the speed at which the info was transmitted could only be a thumb drive...it was inside job, from DNC employee or volunteer. He tested that theory with researchers overseas, it could only load that fast on a thumb drive! The Russians did not HACK the DNC... not possible per NSA expert!

Look up the story from Dec. 2016, that was scarcely covered by the Democrat media when Georgia discovered Obama’s Dept. of Homeland Security had hacked into its computers and got information on 7.5 million voters. Who was indicted for that breach? Shouldn’t Rosenweasel have remembered that when he proclaimed that “no Americans were involved” in election meddling? Rather than worry about the Russians, we should be much more worried about what the Democrats in our government did to compromise our election process. We need convictions.
