Does a nation have a right to defend its culture? Or does opposition to massive immigration of people from different cultures with a history of non-assimilation amount to racism?
The latter was clearly the view of two of Joy Reid’s guests on her MSNBC show this morning. Reacting to President Trump’s criticism of massive European immigration, expressed during an interview with the UK’s The Sun newspaper, guest Bobby Ghosh said:
“[Trump] is saying Europe has allowed too many immigrants; it’s spoiling European culture. That is classic racist speak."

I’ll go out on a limb and guess that these people all have locked doors on their houses. But why? Shouldn’t they welcome anyone who wants to enter their houses to come right in, settle down, and enjoy the house and its stuff? If I moved in, I would bring my “culture” with me— smoke some tobacco in the house, listen to bluegrass music, let my dog sit next to me on the furniture, and maybe whip up a batch of sauerkraut to ferment in the basement. And they would be okay with that, right?

The word “racist” has been so overused that it has lost its original meaning. Now he has to call Trump a “stone, flat-out racist”, acknowledging that “racist” alone is not enough.

Conservative Republicans should propose a new bill,
1. Open Borders
2. It is a FEDERAL FELONY to keep any door ( car, building, luggage ) locked
3. The federal government has to check everyone’s door to make sure it is unlocked and if it is locked they break down your door and immediately arrest you.
