President Trump is reportedly hoping to make the high skies great again with a new and improved patriotic paint job for Air Force One that looks more American, in addition to requesting bigger, more comfortable beds on board.
**SNIP**
The president reportedly wants the jets to be outfitted in a color scheme that "looks more American" and replace the iconic robins egg blue declared a "Jackie Kennedy color. Technically termed "luminous ultramarine", the planes current design was selected by President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jackie Kennedy in the 1960s, Axios reports.
Trumps preferred color scheme would incorporate red, white and blue. In addition, the commander in chief is said to want bigger, more comfortable beds, like those of his personal Boeing 757, in favor of what Axios describes as the current couch-like sleeping configuration aboard Air Force One.

I think it is beautiful and is already very American. Agreed. It's become an iconic American symbol. Don't change it.

That's how I'd do it. If I could figure out a way, passengers would be sleep in a bed or comfortable lounger and all baggage would be stowed in the hold. Forget in-flight distractions, working, harassing your neighbor, or pestering the crew. Y'all sleepin.'

“Agreed. It’s become an iconic American symbol. Don’t change it”.
Well said. It’s a beautiful, dignified airplane. The color scheme is the best.

As a practical matter, it may become necessary to give all our manned airborne assets a highly efficient mirror finish. Because of the continuing development and miniaturization of dangerous burning lasers.
As well, such a finish would be quite visually striking. For Air Force One it should be possible to superimpose a faint image of something like the US flag into the mirroring.

Last I looked, long-range RADAR and other weapons didn’t care about a color scheme.

I was on a Northwest flight from Mpls to Chicago years ago. A delegation of Japanese were on board.
As we landed, a hulking 747 freighter with the Flying Tiger motif taxied by.
The Japanese were stunned...they recognized the artwork.

(Baseball players, gangsters and musicians are remembered. But journalists are forgotten.) There's a reason.
They are mere messengers; delivering the information that baseball players, gangsters and musicians have created.

Get the base color that is offered and put American flags on it with the presidential shield. End of story.
Look at that, we saved some American taxpayer money....!!!!!

I have been wishing the Air Force would ditch their gay pansy paint schemes for a while. The only way they could be any worse than UN blue is if they just went ahead and started painting everything lavender and pink. Not that I want to give some Obama general any ideas.
The natural aluminum of the 50s looks much more manly.

Last I looked, long-range RADAR and other weapons didnt care about a color scheme. Jesse Jackson's LONG RANGE RADAR sure cares about the "color scheme"! Although nowadays, I guess Maxine has taken over Jesse's role.
