Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced on Friday that 12 Russian intelligence officers was indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller in the ongoing Trump-Russia investigation. The officers are members of the GRU, and are all named as having allegedly hacked the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Democratic National Committee, and the Hillary Clinton campaign. CNN reported that prosecutors from Mueller's office and the Justice Department's National Security Division gave a grand jury indictment to a D.C. federal magistrate judge on Thursday morning. The indictment comes just one day before President Trump is set to meet Russian president Vladimir Putin in Helsinki for their first one-on-one meeting
As far as I can tell that order only bars sharing “sensitive” information. They’re going to have to produce some sort of evidence and the provenance of it or that case will get tossed in the waste can. Or this is a police state.
Of course the GRU hacked American political entities. They are legitimate intelligence targets. Were any of them indicted for hacking Hillary’s private illegal server and email setup? That was a legitimate intelligence target, too. Only she’d go to jail for having classified information on a non-secure, non-government-approved data system.
If possible and it was, really an inside job(which I believe it was) I’d love to see Putin come up with some type of diplomatic maneuver to say have Mueller show his cards and hand over the server. If nothing esle, Putin is laughing at all of us. I do wonder though, how a guy get 60+ million votes. Fills stadiums and arenas everywhere he went. She could barely fill a high school gymnasium. Bernie had 10-20k showing up for him. And somehow the whole thing was bogus.
Yes, they logged in as "I am Russian hacker GRU Officer Dimitri Badanoff etc."
LOL
Funny how their tune changed, once Trump won.
What happens if they hire a DC law firm and advise them that it would be in their best interest to represent Mother Russia and these 12 anonymous GRU agents, to the very very best of their ability. Never know when someone will have to deal with exposure to polonium or some other nasty thing.
What work did the Russian’s do? That they haven’t already done in every election since the Cold War started after WW2, going forward.
Yes, what ever happened to that “press conference with the witness?”
Obama did it, openly, with taxpayer money in Israel.
The Concord Management case is an exception, since that particular defendant is a corporation, not an individual ... so there's nobody to apprehend and no bail hearing.
Does not sound legally damaging, but demm talking points and Maddow etc. could use it.

The indictments Rod Rosenstein announced are good news for all Americans. The Russians are nailed. No Americans are involved. Time for Mueller to end this pursuit of the President and say President Trump is completely innocent.

When were they arrested by US law enfarcement?
The indictment text actually reveals a lot of details about what Mueller is claiming. For example, see item 44.
He will probably indicting Romulans next.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that you have not read the 49 page indictment yet. assuming I'm correct in that guess, I'd be really interested in your opinion after you do so.
Here is is: Justice.Gov: USA vs. (list of 12 Russians with very long names)
I have read it, all 49 pages.
There is way too much specific information to support the alternative theory that it was all an inside job. For instance, the DCLeaks web site is traced to the Russians, they have evidence of penetration of dozens of computers in the DCCC.
I don't think it's plausible that they made all this stuff up, it's just too specific. Names, dates, addresses, programs used to hack things, names of people whose accounts were cracked, etc.
So, re-calibrate your opinions based on new evidence, if you can.
There is no proof submitted that Trump or anyone on his team had anything to do with this. It was a GRU (Russian military intelligence) operation, top to bottom. That actually seems to make it *less likely* that Trump or anyone on his team was in any way involved.
Maybe, just maybe I could believe that some misguided fellow like Roger Stone got involved with Romanian hackers or something, but this was clearly a pro hacking job run from big spy buildings in Russia.
it's sort of funny to indict GRU spies for doing spying. They are doing their job, after all. And we have buildings full of our own DIA, CIA and NSA spies hacking into Russian servers every day to get the same sort of stuff.
But: we would never use that information to interfere in Russian politics or elections.
Ha ha ha ha ha.
This does not address how I was supposed to know if an anti-Hillary post on Facebook was created by a Russian or by a domestic FB user with no more of a connection to Russian than a sardine to a sparrow.
He’s investigating Klingons around Uranus........................
That is interesting in terms of what a load of horse manure that sounds like.
Even more interesting is that Mueller actually did indict a Russian by the name of Dmitriy Badin. I hadn’t read any of those names when I used the phony name Dimitry Badanoff in #204. :)
Thank you I do not do social media.
The Russians are nailed.
Still think they are covering what hillary and zero did.
