On Thursday, FBI agent Peter Strzok testified on Capitol Hill, answering questions about his anti-Trump bias and the investigation into alleged ties between Donald Trump's 2016 campaign and Russia. Strzok gave conflicting explanations of his anti-Trump text messages and dodged important questions, but Democrats in Congress proved quite happy with his testimony.
"If I could give you a Purple Heart, I would. You deserve one," Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) told Strzok.
"This has been an attack on you [and] the investigation, to get to Russian collusion involved in our election which is what this committee should be looking at," the Democrat continued.
Cohen went on to characterize Trump's campaign not the FBI agent whose texts explicitly promised to keep Trump from winning the election as "a direct strike at democracy and what this country is about, free and fair elections."
He said this of a man who laughably argued that his anti-Trump texts did not indicate bias in his FBI investigation of Trump.

The pic looks more like he would give him a purple bj.
I couldn’t believe I was hearing this....what a scumbag...
I think FR used to be place where refined gentlemen discussed matters of the day in a serious manner. Since you and I got here I think the standards have gone down for that gentlemen aspect. At least we use asterisks and stuff. Oh, well.
Strzok and his Petacci should avoid Maxines gas stations.
That was the time.
Good Luck with Ohio State this year.
Still hoping my old Tennessee Vols can get back on track.
This man is a total disgrace. Comparing this loser to one of my comrades who was wounded in combat is despicable.
Did You Use That Smirk When You Lied To Your Wife?
Layers in love.
That smirk was directed to the American people, who apparently cant do one damn thing except to continue paying his salary.
Thta is right up the democrat’s LGTBQ alley.
Does anyone really think this country can be held together?
I used to.
Not anymore.

I saw this today and felt sick. The Purple Heart is a sacred medal, awarded to those wounded in battle. To cheapen the medal in the way this jerk did is unforgivable.
He deserved to be booed out of the hearing.
I’m sure you’d get a number of his victims who’d be willing to make sure that he earned it.
“Cohen must be demonstrating how big his penis is in that photo.”
Or maybe that all baboons are not black? Give him a banana!
“Id give both Strzok AND Cohen purple faces if I could.”
For me an “enema” with a baseball bat would suffice! I think it would “cure” Strozk’s smirk permanently.
“So how does a white jewish male hold the seat? “
There are distinct “similarities?”
I am emailing this to the Congress critters office with added instructions that those lacking knowledge or intelligence of military matters should just try and refrain from making themselves sound like dumb asses by speaking of them!
The Purple Heart is awarded in the name of the President of the United States to any member of the Armed Forces of the United States who, while serving under competent authority in any capacity with one of the U.S. Armed Services after April 5, 1917, has been wounded or killed. Specific examples of services which warrant the Purple Heart include any action against an enemy of the United States; any action with an opposing armed force of a foreign country in which the Armed Forces of the United States are or have been engaged; while serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in which the United States is not a belligerent party; as a result of an act of any such enemy of opposing armed forces; or as the result of an act of any hostile foreign force
When they’ve been around as long as the offending party, the are way beyond the “best by” date. I applaud your efforts though.
